That's my thinking too
Doesn't Brown play tight rotation and not play rooks/ young players too like Thibs ??
As much as I hate Thibs, I wouldn't have fired him for Brown lol

Same was said when we hired Thibs
I don’t remember anyone saying that about Thibs.. and how is he a journey man when he only coached two teams prior to the Knicks?
Melo .. the same was definitely implied although the word Journey man wasn't specifically used. He was called a failed coach and someone that nobody wanted and that's why he was out of the NBA. I know because I argued in favor of Thibs before I realized he was no longer the right coach. I've had discussions with people in this thread.. go back to when we hired him. It wasn't received that well.
Brown or Jenkins I think people will have an issue. it's just what we do lol

I think there’s a lot more negativity around Mike brown than Thibs though. the discourse around Thibs before we got him was that he would play too much mins, not much about his ability to coach. Mike brown’s flaws are mainly about his ability to coach which are way more alarming to me. Mike brown hasn’t been successful in the playoffs as a coach without LeBron.
I would rather take a shot at Jenkins. At least he is young and isn’t afraid to experiment.

No way there’s more negativity around Brown than Thibs. That’s a wild take. Thibs rep was he’s stubborn and clashes with management, nobody wants to play for him, he runs his top guys into the ground, doesn’t play the bench, doesn’t give young guys much chance, doesn’t adjust, isn’t good offensively, etc etc etc…. I sure as hell didn’t want him here day 1.
Mike Brown has done well with Lebron, Kobe/Gasol, Sabonis/Fox… how far was he supposed to go with young Lebron n bums? Or 34 yr old Kobe after they brought in 38 yr old Nash and injured Dwight Howard? Is Sabonis and Fox anywhere close to any championship duo in the history of this league? Not saying the guy is Pat Riley, but the knocks on him around here are pretty unfair when you break it down. Not my first choice, but I’d take him over Thibs any day…

You’re bugging fam. The majority of this place doesn’t want Mike brown besides a handful of people. And that’s saying something since almost everyone here wanted Thibs fired. Just look at the poll for proof![]()
Mike brown hasn’t gotten out the first round without Bron. Ima have to pass.

Hey I said he wasn’t my first choice either lol. All I’m sayin is we’re better off with him than Thibs, and that Thibs has a worse rep.
