Seems like a good deal for both sides. Denver upgrades and gets off MPJ money. Nets get an unprotected when Jokic will be old and maybe Porters gets to shoot a million times this year and they can flip him for something.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I'm going to say something that might be a bit divisive but I've kinda gone the other way on the Williams trade. At first I thought value was fine, 2 late FRP's isn't going to break the draft bank but as I laid out the moves we made and what we walked away with in the end, it's kinda poor value and to be completely frank, could we have made do with Nick Richards as the placeholder starting 5 but splitting time with Maluach?

1. Richards isn't as good as Williams and I know people weren't happy with him last season but he's great value and gives you the big man basics
2. Doesn't create a logjam at the 5 between Williams and our C of the future, Maluach
3. Richards is also the sensible/logical starting 5 in name only, holding down the position until Maluach has had a few months NBA games under his belt and you can then gradually rework the balance in minutes between Richards and Maluach.
4. If we didn't do the Williams trade, Fleming would still have been there because he was available at #29 and we get to keep the 2029 pick for something else
5. The Fleming move also cost a net of 4 future SRP. There were 2 future seconds that went to Brooklyn for the #36 which we then packaged with another 2 future SRPs to get the Wolves' #31. Is that really a good use of most of the SRP haul we got from the KD trade?

What is going on with hyperbole? There is no guarantee anyone would be on the board and the Suns did amazing in the draft.

OKC -- loaded
Houston - loaded
Denver -- getting Brown and Cam - loaded
Memphis - should be good
Spurs are better

There is even less reason than two hours ago for the Suns to stretch and waive Beal
just suck it up - take their lumps and move on

Who is the starting center for the Bucks now? That's a big loss IMO. Unless they are getting DA.

Can they afford him? Perfect way to get Giannis to request a trade though.

Trade idea...

Suns -
John Collins
Jusuf Nurkic

Jazz -
Bradley Beal

Utah is a great place to raise your kids Brad! Suns really want Nurkic back.

Beal knows we’re gonna waive him so why accept a trade when you could be getting paid by two different teams?

Fish what is your point? You act like SRP are valuable which they aren't for most teams.

The FO absolutely cooked in the draft. I'm trying to understand what you are complaining about exactly.
