It depends. If you are a fan of retaining Giddey, it’s a good thing because that would mean that no team with space is interested in tying it up with him knowing the Bulls would likely match. This may lead to a more favorable deal for us.

However, if you aren’t keen on retaining Giddey, it’s bad news for the reasoning mentioned above.

Don’t love it. Ayo played all last 2 seasons with an increasingly degrading fractured shoulder and when he returns he would have been returning to a team planning to play the way he was born to play.

houston has a ton of big wings to play at PF too, so it's not like you assume they're going to be running constant double big lineups.

kind of weird roster construction. i liked where they were headed into free agency but i'm not sure why they prioritized DFS or another center

DFS is an odd signing. They have Sengun, Adams and Capela at C. Then Jabari and Tari at PF, but KD and Thompson can also play there (if need be).

I wonder how much of a discount we could get from Vuc on a buyout? If he thinks he can get Capella or BroLo $, he should be willing to give us at least $5M off his deal, right? We'd then have our full MLE to use.
