Called it !!

Said it the other day also.

They worked him out during his draft year

Great college player. But what is he in the nba?

I've been watching him in the g league. Nothing special, but you never know.

People love having a g league mvp who IMO stinks because he was drafted by the Celtics. That I don't understand.

I guess one of these will end as the starter C.

Boucher is out there too.

Go get ben simmons at $5 million. Play him as a point 4.

I think Garza will be ok, did not get minutes yet but will be productive... As a bench big he is ok.

I think the 2nd year guarantee means he doesn’t qualify for the league paying his salary down to the 2nd year minimum.

Yeah but he’s only in the league because he was the second overall pick despite doing absolutely nothing type of awful. I’d rather have Garza lol

Simons... Luka... JD... Walsh.
The Celtics have multiple tank commanders this season.
And that's the way we like it!

Atlanta looking like a serious contender in a wide open EC. NAW also a good pickup for them

Probably Celtics are working on a long term extension with Queta. If team can sign him long term for 4/$20 it's proper to lock him up now before you feature him before the league playing 25 - 30 minutes next year.

I’d rather have neither.

Oh and I would take Bagley over Garza

So we can agree to disagree I’m not getting into a Garza/Bagley debate

There was a brief drought in hateable centers. But, I'm confident you can make the transition to Garza.

I went to YouTube to watch some Luka Garza highlights, the comments are interesting. Some say he has high bbiq and wish he’d play more. Others says that he has good offensive skill set and he will play meaningful minutes if given the opportunity. Interesting…

They already have him signed for the minimum next year and their long term payroll is in good shape but not necessarily over abundance of room. If they sign him to something like this and and he flops, it’d be pretty serious inconvenience.

With him already having a minimum salary option next year, seems smarter to just wait. If he plays well you can leverage that to a bargain extension at that time.
