He fixed his jump shot recently. 41% on 3s on good volume. His defense is awful but he can initiate a play and hit a pull-up 3. This is a good move for Orlando

Love this for the Magic, finally get the facilitator they need.

This honestly is a bigger deal than the Bane trade, in my opinion.

This is a fantastic move by ORL. The exact kind of player this team has really needed. And I don’t see ORL freezing out Tyus on offense like he had to deal with, with PHX.

The Tyus and Bane addition is a massive win for ORL this offseason. A true perimeter high level scorer, and a true pass first PG that rarely makes mistakes and knows how to play off of stars (as long as they’re willing to play off of him some as well).

To me the next step is to keep loading up on versatile shooting. And find a good score first guard they can bring off the bench.

Basically the Cole Anthony role, but someone that is actually good at it.

You can never go wrong with another Dukie.

Now all we need is to trade Jett for Grayson and my 23 season wishlist would be complete

Yeah stoked on this. Gonna be huge for Anthony Black, as well. To figure out how to set the table while still initiating his own game's development.

Great move by Orlando. Tyus can play with Suggs and/or Banes depending on what they need.

Haha ya I remember snooping in on the ORL board the last couple years and both Grayson and Tyus were brought up a good amount.

And the funny thing is, just like Tyus. Grayson is still a perfect fit for what ORL needs. Grayson off the bench getting 6th man minutes is basically the ideal scenario for ORL.

We got crushed when GA resigned with PHO so we moved on. Lol a scrappy dawg in the mold of Suggs and MoeSwag with the 3pt shot was who we were looking for.

Now all our board needs is the debate on who is better Tre or Tyus and why did we settle for Tyus.lol

Haha Tyus without a doubt is the better fit for ORL. I don’t really see the fit with Tre and ORL.

And if ORL can find a way to get Grayson, because Grayson at 10% of the cap is still good value. Man if ORL could go into next season with a backcourt depth of Bane, Suggs, Tyus, Grayson, and Black.

That would go from being arguably the weakest guard depth in the league for years. To a really solid and versatile group. Suggs and Black could bring the high level defensive intensity. Need spacing, no one is helping off the perimeter with Bane and Grayson out there. And need to give Paolo/Franz a break on the ball. You got Tyus.

And obviously I’m rooting to get as many of my favorite Dukies on a team. Hell just bring in Justise Winslow for the end of the bench guy that never plays. And ORL may become my favorite NBA team ever haha

Nice pickup for the Magic! They’re gonna be pushing for the top seed.

Last chance. Bet on himself leaving Washington and lost money. Disaster year in Phoenix. Better own the playmaking on the second unit in Orlando or it's vet minimum time.

What? Def No! Its great deal because he fits what the Magic need but he is a backup PG for a reason…

He's the only PG on the Magic roster. He may not start but he legit is the only guy of his archetype on that team.

His defense may always be bad, but he can learn to make better rotations to clean it up a bit, realistically speaking.
