You are complaining about a few SRP? Come on dude.

It's poor value. 4 FRPs for a guy we could've taken with #29. I also think Williams create more problems than it solves especially with his health and looming extension

Could be OK value if you treat the trades separately. The Williams trade is entirely contingent on his health, which could go either way to be honest. Good read here on his previous injuries: https://www.reddit.com/r/lakers/comments/1iivtsy/mark_williams_injury_history/ -> I'd be curious what the foot injury was specifically, because nothing else seems too bad. Hasn't ever required surgery.

Suns did save money drafting Fleming at 31 instead of holding steady at 29 and drafting him there.

The money saving isn't huge, I think about $800k (difference between #30th pick and min contract). The lesser guaranteed money is probably a bigger factor in getting him at #31 vs #29.

That being said, if Mark balls out and plays like 60 games plus, and does so moving forward, it's a good trade. I'm just less bullish on that actually happening.

Yeah, not a huge amount of savings, but it all helps with the apron. I think I'm about as hesitant as you are with the deals, but moreso because I think it's more likely Williams stays healthy(ish) than Maluach panning out. We'll find out at some point though.

“Hayes-Davis averaged 15/5/2 on 62% TS (48/39/82 shooting splits) during the past Euroleague regular season and made the Final Four with the Turkish powerhouse.

He also was the first and only player to score 50 points in an Euroleague game, doing so against Alba Berlin on 83% TS (9/16 from three). Euroleague star and former NBA player Nikola Mirotic stated that it's the equivalent of scoring 80 in the NBA.”

That's pretty low considering how few games Williams have played lol I'm definitely higher on him than you are

I think Maluach has a bit of a lower floor than someone like Sorber who I liked more but he also has a higher ceiling.

Boston was trying to sign him apparently

Seems like a good tactic. Drafting players or signing players that Boston tried to.

Sure why not. Low risk high reward

I know the suns don’t have their picks so they can’t tank - but they do have a budget that’s limited so swing for the fence

He might be hungry and ready for the nba now

Houston can’t complete there deals unless they trade Whitmore or Landale.

Why are we signing a forward? We need a POINT GUARD.

Gillespie is nice and all, but we need more than him.

As discussed by Bourguet both Booker and Green will bring the ball up the court.

We are not going for a traditional point guard which mirrored what was said by Gambo.
