It'll be interesting to see how Holmes comes back from his achilles tear.

Yeah, I was big on him during his draft.

Just remember when Kornet first signed with Boston almost everyone thought he was a scrub. Luka can at least hit 3 pointers. Might actually be a real sleeper in that regard.

C's worked him out for the 21' draft. I'm sure Stevens has been keeping tabs since.

Didn't they just pick up that Durant guy?

How much does BOS have to add pick-wise to a Simons & Tillman for Anthony Black, Isaac, Jett Howard deal?

Another (injury prone) big, and a young defensive PG to try to grow.
ORL could still use some scoring and are more all-in this year.

Sheppard's gonna get his shot this year for sure.

Yeah, and what Udoka will do is just give the ball to KD every single time.

We've seen that Udoka offense in 2022.

It's stale and predictable.

Black is too good for Orlando to trade him.

Bad deal for the Cs.

Hopefully that trade does not happen.

Yeah, it'd be an overpay to make them do it thing, which I don't love. But, he's a guy I feel like can break out. Just gonna be tougher there with Suggs and Bane.

To put it this way, if the Cs still had KP, I would prefer Black because Black is a better overall player than Simons.

But right now the Cs really need that dynamic scoring guard.

There's just too much offense lost with JT, KP, and Jrue not there.

Right now the Cs really need offense, especially now that the Cs don't have a rim protector.

I do have a feeling you’ll see Horford leaving. Going to need to keep the culture somewhat intact. It’s a pretty big roster upheaval though.

What about next year with Tatum? That's really where I'm focused.

KeithSmithNBA‬

Adding Luka Garza, brings Boston to about $2M from the second apron with one open roster spot.

More moves coming for the Celtics.

Here's the thing, both Simons and Niang are expiring contracts, the Cs will have options next season because they also have that 22m TPE from the KP trade.

Besides, if the season does not go as expected, Cs can make moves at trade deadline.
