Luke Kennard, Hawks Agree To One-Year, $11M Deal

Luke Kennard and the Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a one-year, $11 million deal. 


Kennard averaged 8.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 22.6 minutes across 65 games last season for the Memphis Grizzlies. Kennard is a career 43.8 percent three-point shooter and shot 43.3 percent last season.


Kennard, who is represented by Steven HeumannAaron Mintz and Dave Spahn, will join Kristaps Porzingis and Nickeil Alexander-Walker as new additions to the Hawks.

Agreed.

They are making solid moves this off season and with a healthy Jalen Johnson they could be dangerous.

The East is wide open next year with the Celts, Bucks, and Pacers all missing key personnel for the better part of the season.

Atlanta vs. New York in the ECF seems like a real possibility. Orlando may be in the mix too.
