They need a reliable reserve PG.

Fam i know alot of people wanted a new POBO after that big ole search we did. But Onsi who took over for Landry has been absolutely dominating this offseason and COOKING since he took over. I don't see how the man hasn't proven enough to just give him the job outright at this point.

I think they're holding out to see if he's able to make the GOAT trade for Anfernee Simons. That'll cement things for him.

Actually i want a legit 3 point sniper go get me Kennard and then i'll be impressed >.> We need someone that can hit all these open look 3's trae keeps giving ppl lol.

Could be Hauser, but I feel like we hold on to him at this point.

Hawks are still $18 million under the Luxury tax with 11 contracts. Still need shooting and scoring.

Hoping so, Wolves could use a 2nd or 2. TPE probably doesn't matter as much with us so strapped against the tax.

Question. If the Wolves stay under the 2nd apron, does the TPE carry over into next year?

It wouldn't be Hauser because i feel if we wanted him he would have been apart of the KP deal as the numbers worked perfectly to add him on that deal to help yall.

TPE'S are valid for 1 year. So went the moratorium lifts and players sign, that's the date of the TPE.

So in theory we could use it up to and including July 1 2026?

Mavs fans are slowly forgetting what that feels like (where are you Donnie?) so let me live vicariously through this please.

They need a reliable reserve PG.

The bigman rotation is solid but KP surely gets injured at some point so can never have enough depth with him around. Really think they use NAW for spot pg minutes here and there. But they do need a vet pg.

The other glaring need is shot creation from the sf. Not much offense and the depth is lacking. Hawks still have plenty holes to fill but they have the most complete team in the Trae era.

Yeah the Hawks off-season has been great.

Trae/Johnson will end up on somewhat alternate rotations as Jalen Johnson still has room to grow on his 5 APG last year.

Krejci and Dyson will continue to bolster their "PG" minutes in other ways.

Adding NAW allows Dyson to play more without Trae as well since NAW fills a similar defensive role as Dyson.

The depth of the team is going to be great. It is hard to win without a Top 15-20 player, but I think both Trae and Jalen Johnson will be flirting with being Top 20 this year.

I agree they probably need to add one more "big" and that can simply be someone who is 125% of a warm body, 4th-5th big type.
