Maybe I'm wrong, does this count as a vet min or does it take away from MLE money

They'll probably have him as the opening night 2.

Anyone who has praised Horst in the past year may post their retraction here.

Taking Giannis' loyalty for granted.

I thought Prince was solid. But I get wanting to let him walk simply because you don’t want Doc leaning on him as much as last year.

In regards to using the MLE to have signed KPJ. This would be bad...

Marks is losing it.

Let’s assume for some reason Marks is right and the Bucks are the dumbest team ever by giving KPJ the exact amount of the max BAE but used the MLE to do so. Why does that mean they only have a min salary for GTJ? Wouldn’t they still have part of the MLE to use?

This is all pointless because Marks is an idiot.

Yup, we'd not only have the rest of the MLE, we'd also still have the BAE!

Shouldn’t take away MLE. They were allowed to give him a small raise on the min salary from last year without using cap space or exceptions.

Have you met Doc?

im going to assume what happened in the playoffs is how we move forward. we need some decent forwards. i think the mistake with prince was the lineup but he was a solid player on the surface. glad he prioritized us and wants to come back. **** like that matters too. hes better in my book than the day we signed him last year and the price is outstanding. i think we should just roll with it.

if doc cant make a lineup thats a completely different issue

Show some perspective. Prince started last year, was an elite regular season 3 pt shooter & OK defender against his natural match-ups. He's at least worth a vet min in a vacuum. If Doc weren't the coach, I'd be more than cool w/ this. I'm just scared what he does. This is not Doc-proofing.

If that's the case it's a little better

Put me in the "contract is fine but the coach is not" category.

He's not like the worst player ever or anything but you know Doc is gonna roll him out as a starter again.

Prince is fine as long as he's off the bench

Technically I think it’s the raise they can give him on the min. If they use him as a stretch four, then it’s okay to eat minutes in the regular season. When Doc starts KPJ/Prince/Kuz/GA/Bobby, we’ll regret this deal.

Ok, wondering if that counts toward the MLE. I was fine with him back too. Feel like he got kind of jacked around after the Kuzma deal. Pretty unfair of doc to play him at the 2.
