Isn't Watford Maxey's best friend? Decent move, I think.

So this is basically a 2-year, vet min deal right?

The Nuggets got off the MPJ contract for a better player, SAVED MONEY, and added to their depth. Thats the **** good FO do. I didn't even think they had any moves to make but they did. A Good FO makes moves that you don't even think about....we have telegraphed all of our moves since Morey has been here imo (trade for Harden, then sign PG).

Another year of hoping for injury luck again is just not that appealing. NOW the real answer is that we probably should blow it up and at the very least I am glad he isn't trading McCain for some washed vet so it always could be worse but like Nurse, we were promised this genius analytical mind that is ahead of the curve...and welp.

I'd hardly consider the Nuggets a good FO. They made some pretty bad moves the last two years to take them out of contention.

fair but also they did just fire their last one so this is a new group lol

I think he is a good, cheap player to take a flyer on.

Morey sticking to his 26 and under comment. Maybe he isn’t a liar?

For 2.65 mil a year we got power forward depth that's age 24. Why not?

Don't think it was an accident that we didn't hear a peep about Joel welcoming the new kids.

If he had re-signed last year with DAL he would've almost definitely gotten less than he'll get this summer, and the whole asking for $25m is just the opening move. If another team offers a bunch of money, great, if not you're at least not starting low with Philly. His agent knows we want to keep him and has some leverage there, saying 'oh we'll take $8m or whatever to get this over with' seems pretty dumb.

Fair, that’s a good take.

Thought Yabu would be gone but thought Spurs. Seemed like he'd be good next to Wemby.

For the money and Maxey connection Watford is fine - but couldn't we get a power forward who rebounds?
