I don't think we should care about free agency. We aren't getting anybody. We should be looking at undrafted free agents. I don't know who's out there but we gave a shot to some C for at least the summer league. I'd rather gamble on that as a rebuilding team than a vet who's sucked for years. I don't want another Bruno Fernando.

wym? the heat only resign their own player?

Even when the Raptors are a top playoff team or a contender they will struggle with attracting these role player free agents.

I really want to know what the Kings are doing. Let go of Jake after trading for him at the deadline. That team just seems like a mess. I really think only they would trade for RJ.

Agreed, but ironically Bruno was low key good value.

Weird.

I thought teams didn't care about depth at C.

I dont respect your basketball opinion if you dont think having positional depth matters lol.

We couldn't even get Plumlee.. Is Bobby for real?

Wtf are we doing man.

BRING BACK MASAI

I’d love to bring back Masai, but this exact inactivity happens every year on this board. We almost never get 1st day news as Raptors fans

We got Temple... thats all this franchise needs considering how great the team has been the past 2 years lol

I just want Boucher to go somewhere he could start. I feel like he's gotten better with age and could be a decent big now.

It seems like it'll be very easy getting depth going forward. DAR going for the deal he did is crazy. Th Raptors should see if there's value deals and trade RJ as an expiring. Otherwise next year I'd give him a "prove it" type of deal.

Seems pretty simple to me.

5 positions
15 contracts+3 extra
Have 2...just 2 legit C's isn't a crazy concept...lol.

Then let CMB be the 3rd if needed or if you want to go small.

Why am I surprised that this board is freaking out about missing on Luka Garza and Mason Plumlee. Biggest winners of free agency are the Toronto Raptors for not signing anybody.

Agree.

Who was the FA that signed a deal last summer that became an impact player in the playoffs?

Isaiah Hartenstein (who wasn't that impactful) and who?

What if sitting still is actually the correct strategy?
