I believe Whitmore has interest around the league.

Having done half assed internet research, the guy is 6'7, 6'8 with a 7'4 wingspan and plays the 3/4.

Apparently his calling card is his NBA level defense, having good lateral quickness and strength to guard 1 to 4 with very high BBIQ and is very coachable. Also a solid catch and shoot 3PT threat and also has some post skills that he uses in mismatches against smaller wings but overall moves well off ball (relocation/cuts) and doesn't really take possessions away from your stars nor unnecessarily holds the ball longer than he needs. Considered a really good glue guy

If the front office is looking at changing the culture of the team, he's a fantastic guy to have.

He is 30 years old so if anything, at least he finally reached his dream to get back into the NBA.

It'a worth trying him. If he can contribute like PJ Tucker did, it is a huge steal for me.

As discussed by Bourguet both Booker and Green will bring the ball up the court.

We are not going for a traditional point guard which mirrored what was said by Gambo.
So we're looking for another season of failure is what you're saying? Because theast time we tried this, it failed miserably. Doesn't matter if it's Green or Beal as the second ball handler, it's going to end in the same way.

Absolutely Bill. We are going for another failing season but at least everyone can vent on this board.

To be fair, it didn't work when we didn't have a PG in 2024 and it didn't really work when we had a PG in 2025. There also doesn't seem to be PG's lining up to sign with us on the minimum either and you got Book/Green probably splitting bringing up the ball duties.

I would've loved a proper PG like CP3 on this team and get everyone some easy shots but it doesn't seem like we're interested.

1. I would like to keep Nick Richards unless we get an offer we can't refuse. Why not wait for the trade deadline to move him?
2. I really am not concerned about adding a PG. I expect we can get someone for the minimum when everything settles down. I am really glad that we are keeping Gillespie.
3. What we do with Beal is a concern. I have no idea what is going to happen with him. The hope is that he stays
and is a productive part of our team. Is that possible? I have no idea.
4. I like the guy we signed from the Euro League. He seems to be a great person that works hard, and he plays defense as well as being a quality shooter.
"Oh I wish the days of Monty and CP3, or the days of Mike and Steve Nash were here instead of this mess. Ish please go away! .

So are we currently under the 2nd apron? Can we package players together right now?
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

So we going into another season of you whining ? Yes, expecting that

You realize , with a good coach, green and Booker bringing ball up, we are good! Also I think suns get CP3 or Westbrook. Offseason isn’t even done yet

Speaking of the 2nd apron, it still absolutely blows my mind how well-planned and executed Boston's strategy was to get under it. From the moment Tatum went down to when they made those trades, they used that time really well to plan out their moves. Honestly, I didn’t think it was even possible given how far over the line they were.

They were also the first movers when it came to shedding salary. By acting fast, they ensured that teams with significant cap space hadn’t yet used it on other deals, which was critical for Boston. If other teams had made moves first, Boston might not have had a path to offload KP or Jrue and get under the 2nd apron.

Of course. That's the nature of discussion. Not everyone is going to agree nor should they.
