None of these guys were "big" free agents but they all could have signed with a number of other teams. As much as we get frustrated, this is an overall well run organization and players like playing here.

If we still have the full MLE this would be a great time to explore Swansons idea of useing it to absorb a player from a team looking to shed salary while adding an future asset

I’m on my phone and don’t have the full list but otoh guys I’d be interested are Grimes (RFA, but we can make it uncomfortable for Philly possibly?), Yabusele, Turner, and I could be talked into the Ayton thing although I think he’s clearly headed to LA
