Assuming Horford comes back that’s only two bigs on the roster

Let's not forget how gloom and doom it was in the summer of 2019 where Kyrie left for Brooklyn and Al went to Philly.

Celts were left with a 21-year old Tatum as their best player.

Cs then surprised the Celtic fans with an ECF appearance that 2019-20 season.

And that's a BIG assumption. Might make more sense for him to go to Golden State. I know Brad's not done but this roster looks like it will be lucky to break .500 next season. And we don't have the bigs to protect Al and give him rest anymore. And once he goes the cupboard looks a little bare.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Teams take advantage of the Pelicans FO.

Picks go where they need to (a number to Jazz to begin).

Leaves enough to sign Al for up to 12m or so.

Until Tatum returns

PP / Carter / JD
White / Scheierman / Walsh
Murphy / Peterson / Gonzalez
Markkanen / Hauser / Norris
Kessler / Horford / Garza / Queta

After Tatum returns

White / PP / JD
Murphy / Carter / Walsh
Tatum / Scheierman / Peterson / Gonzalez
Markkanen / Hauser / Norris
Kessler / Horford / Garza / Queta

Queta isn’t ready to be starting center, I follow the NBA relatively close and I have never heard of Garza. I checked his stats and unsurprisingly he’s horrible.

Williams is a rookie and Tillman is like the 14th guy off the bench.

Ghost. Garza was college national player of the year. He's been stuck in Minnesota for several years and been great in g league.

You know this player.

Seems like Brad’s neglect of the 4/5 in the draft has come back to bite them a bit. Having a Missi/Ware going in to their second year would have played out nicely. Nw they’re kind of forced to use needed assets to bring in any talent.

You’re wasting your time. Celtics are not trading Brown. Trade discuss ends here. If not, we can bring Jordan into conversation.

I don’t think there’s anyone to blame because of the sale and the injury, but this team may be a tough watch next season. We need guys like Simons and Tillman to shine with expanded roles.

I just hope they don’t trade Jaylen. They can probably get a haul for him at the deadline if they go that route

Blame is irrelevant. Just have to deal with the reality of where we are now. This is going to be a very mediocre team with JB trying desperately to keep us afloat. It's not gonna be fun to watch.

I think they’re gonna be a play in team honestly because the roster is kind of a mess right now, but we can thank the new CBA for that

Drafted 15th and 21st in a year the Cs had the 30th pick.

Going to be difficult watching former Celtics play well against the present Celtics as the team competitively loses. But it will all be worth it if they can find an impactful Big in the Draft to team with Tatum and whom remains out of Brown and White...

I still think this team has a great collection of talent at PG/SG/SF. They suck at PF right now, but that’s because Tatum is out. That gets fixed next year.

They suck at center right now, but next year they have payroll flexibility to make a real addition there and they have all their future picks except for one to use in trades or pick players.

Tatum’s injury coupled with the tough-to-move expiring salary filler they had to take on in their 2nd apron reset make for a tougher situation this year, but eyes on the prize… still like where this team is at long term.
