The guys that are agreeing to new deals are getting deals that are very reasonable and they are pretty good players. Dorian Finney Smith, Clarkson, Ty Jerome, etc.

Bout time the market finally corrected itself. These deals were appreciating faster than a run down home in 2021 south florida.

I am expecting nothing from this offseason. Maybe some nothing trades like Wiggins for a ham sandwich. IMO, the goal of this season will be to reset and develop. Now watch me be completely wrong and they land Giannis.

Duncan probably got bad advice on opting out.. even if we exercised the early termination he would have made more money.. and he probably regrets it with the way free agency has been working against him…

but its good for us because he was massively overpaid.. he is a 5 million per year player at best..

FA has been weird, man. Gary Trent signed a 2-year $7.5M deal while Kennard signed a 1-year, $11M deal. So many guys signing for under $10M/season and here is Miami giving D Mitchell $12M/year.

Wiggins clearly is the best fit for the Lakers by far. They can’t go into next season with Rui as the sole wing defender. They should be banging down our door for Wiggins.
