Re: Free Agency & Trades Thread **NOW OPEN**
Last week the Bucks were said to be prepared to be aggressive this summer at building a solid team around Giannis. Their way of doing this? Lose Lopez, and re-sign everyone else from that largely underwhelming team. They are practically daring Giannis to ask out.

So here me out....
Raps trade IQ and RJ
Raps get Lebron and Gabe Vincent (needed for salary)
Lebron Shead
Walter Dick
Ingram Battle
Scottie CMB
Yak Mogbo
One year of title chasing Lebron then a big chunk of capspace next year.

Do you guys really think that CMB and Mogbo would really just get dominated by Al Horford, Brooke Lopez, Mason Plumlee, Luka Garza or Mo Wagner. Like playing these guys at Center instead of going small would be some huge upgrade. Come on man this is getting silly.
What happens when Poeltl gets hurt? Do we just cancel the season? Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
We got 18 friggin roster slots to add 2 nba calibre Centers, its really not that hard. There's a reason why practically every good team has 2 to 3 NBA calibre Centers on their roster
And btw. Your guy AL Horford is 6'8 with a 7'0 wingspan and your complaining about Mogbo and CMB being undersized.
Not sure if youre confusing me with someone else because I've never mentioned Al Horford. Hes too good and accomplished to be a backup C on a team like ours.
I've never seen CMB play against nba calibre players but hes currently projected as a PF so I'd prefer not to play him out of position immediately.
Mogbo has a chance to become a decent one based on his crazy physical tools but he needs to start by making layups first lol.

I’d still be interested in Sandro and Bagley. Sandro has a fun game

This new CBA has destroyed the middle class players who are getting killed right now. You better collect every dime you can on your second contract because it's going to be really difficult to make anything on your third one.

Asset accumulation helps expedite rebuilds. Masai/Bobby fumbled this part of the process so damn hard.
Its how OKC went from a joke 3 years ago to where they are now and also have a great chance for sustained success.

I still stand by my prediction that GTJ and Precious are out of the league by age 30.

Here's the list on Spotrac. It will update as signings happen.

Wagner would be a good get. You read the Orlando board and they like him a lot.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Bucks have limited options but resigning Portis, KPJ and Trent is a good thing. I think they still have the MLE, they could sign Deandre Ayton and things would be really interesting for them.

Trent might still be around because of his shooting ability but I would be shocked if Achiuwa is still around at 30.

Re: Free Agency & Trades Thread **NOW OPEN**
It seems clear that the Raptors will trade one of IQ and RJ by the trade deadline to duck the luxury tax and hope that they can finish in the Top 10 of a weak Eastern Conference.
Very low expectations for next season. Raptors are firmly behind the Cavs, Knicks, Magic, Hawks, and Pistons. If the Sixers are healthy, they're a Top 6 seed as well. After that, you have the Pacers, Celtics, and Heat who could all make some noise.
Most optimistic outcome for this upcoming season is the Raptors are the 7th seed with no real pathway to improve the roster.

Our cap experts overpaid Trent big time. What a waste of time and money.
