Big would be a trade into the MLE, while probably attaching '31 &/or 32.

Herb Jones fits btw

Trey Murphy pls
He would be a crazy good pickup

Now that would fit the bill most to me, if he wants out of the Pels, after their dysfunction. Because he's actually a core player. He just doesn't fit into the MLE, and you'd need to use Kuz' contract. It's negative now. If they take it as a positive to add to the deal, they're the craziest FO.

Dumars is an idiot, so maybe he’d do Kuz/Pat/31/32swap for Murphy.

He doesn’t fit into the MLE. For him you’d need to convince someone to take Kuz and Pat.

Kuzma, 31 and tpe would work right? Would allow us to use the mle

Adding a guy like Trey would be an A+ move. He would be an elite 3rd option and I think he has some more room to grow

Markkanen scares me. We'd have like $160m between 3 players for the next two years.

there's just no way we are getting Trey Murphy for what we have available. he would get something closer to a Bane package, i would assume.

Herb Jones is much more realistic. The only problem is that he has had only one good shooting season with the rest far below league average.

I honestly feel like the Bucks could be in the 50-54 win range.

But Doc is going to treat Prince like he's our 3rd best player while telling us that Kuzma is playing horrendous basketball because he's not getting enough touches.

So yeah, we'll probably be more in the 45-48 win range.

I am hyped that KPJ and Trent are back though.

So GTJ only counts as $2.3M as well?

I don’t think so, since we used non-bird rights to retain him. I could be wrong on that, but I don’t think that’s treated as a minimum contract anymore.

Would Prince be prorated since he signed a 2 year deal? I thought that only worked on 1 year deals.

Oh ****, I think you’re right. Good catch. I also can’t figure out what Prince actually signed.

I figured it was min at first, since it’s less than Trent’s even though he has more experience, but It’s more than his min amount with a 5% raise, but it’s also not the full non-bird. I guess it could be non-bird just not maxed out . :dontknow:

Edit: It looks like we could duck the apron from your calculations by cutting Livingston and signing Bogoljub.

Actually Kuz for Murphy works straight up.

You do need to move Pat and cash for a guy making less, or into someone’s cap space or TPE, or waive and stretch him though, because that allows the extra salary from Murphy plus full MLE plus keeping Rollins and Sims. Without moving Pat, you end up over the apron.

What’s the max cash the Bucks can send with Pat? Last season it was $7.2M. I assume that’s gone up.

And we have a pick swap, but with NO we probably keep our own. If there were ever a season to do it, it's this year. 2026 is supposed to be a pretty deep draft, too, right?

Prince back is the first blemish and hopefully the last.

Maybe he was promised a full time starting job, boost his value for his next contract that's my guess. 34+ mins cuz no way he should have signed that cheap aside from being blackmailed

Hornets were mentioned somewhere for Ayton.

It's interesting to ponder how good the Bucks might be in the hypothetical scenario where we sign Ayton, and then Ayton returns to his 2021 form.

GTJ definitely took a 20% raise, but it doesn’t look like Prince did.

Throw in the draft rights to all of Giannis kids, all the Culver's scoopie tokens we can gather, and some free summerfest tickets. Just make it happen Horst
