Jones/Black is the primary reserve backcourt.

TDS gets first dibs on backup SF minutes.

There’s a chance Houstan returns and he’d be ahead of Jett too IMO.

I have it as a 9-man rotation:
Suggs/Jones/Richardson
Bane/Black/Howard
F-Wagner/Penda
Banchero/Isaac/da Silva
Carter/Bitadze

I guess da Silva is "next up" when there are fouls issues, etc. But boy am I praying for a healthy team given that deep bench.

p.s. clearly the Magic must sign a C or combo-big with the 14th slot! (e.g. resign M-Wagner)

They have no one to stop PB.

Sure historically KP demolishes WCJ and Dyson might be able to hinder Bane.

And im not evennmentioing the Franz and whoever guards him

Hmm, i'm not worried about Atlanta next season but they have the perfect player to throw at Paolo in Johnson.

Ummm jalen johnson is 6'8 and 220lbs if i remember. He is a small forward. PB is gonna truck him over if he tries.

He is 6'9 in shoes, like Paolo is 6'10 in shoes. He is strong, athletic & a very good defender. He is fast enough to stay in front of Paolo & long & strong enough to bother him. Except Mobley there are not many more ideal Paolo defenders in the east than him.

Giannis and his G league squad. :D

I don't think we would match that well vs Knicks.

OG; Mikal, not much options to exploit Towns, Brunson would bait Suggs into 6 fouls in 12 min every game

Paolo has 30 lbs on him. Paolo will just truck him over downlow.

Yea OG i had in mind too & Giannis i forgot. Knicks matchup gonna be really interesting. Robinson could be a potential mismatch for them too. The few times he is not injured and doesnt have to defend a shooting big, he is so dominant at defense and rebounding.

Flop-merchant and Kat might ve hard to stop... but we should also hunt them like what IND and BOS did

Their best defenders defend same spots majority of Magic offense is coming from. Wings.

They gutted out Boston. In retrospective, there was something so damn wrong with Celtics in playoffs, even before Tatum injury.

Pacers offense just wracked havoc on Knicks defense because their ball movement overwhelmed them. They did the same to OKC, if Hali didn't snap a leg, we could have had different conversation about East and different champion today.

The West is definetly better, but i like the East and how a lot of teams on top seem to be in same tier. Cavs, Hawks, Knicks, Celtics and we could all end up as the top team, Sixers, Pistons and Bucks as wild cards. It´s impossible to predict the standings at end of season.

I understand what you’re saying but I think, if healthy, on a contract year, nobody is stopping Paolo-he’s going for the all-nba to get the max, like Franz tried this year.

Can't blame middle of pack teams trying to squeeze into finals.

It's bit hilarious that team like Magic and Hawks, after being fringe playoff teams are now "treat" because two true contenders broke down.

Like, people now talk about Pistons as some "treat". Year ago they were 20 wins team.

Bucks to me are dead team. Only their dummy fans and Giannis can't see that it's over. Ship sunk. Kuuuuzma and Lillard on $70M contract.

76ers are waking up every day in fear that Embiid didn't sleep well and will be out for another year.

I just wrote on GB how i'm picking Raptors to make biggest leap, not because they are good, but because every team that tries on East, will end up with 40 by just beating bottom of the barrel. Nets, Wizards and Hornets are safe bet for free 12 wins.

Beasley is going to be suspended for a long time, if not barred for life.

Ayton doesn’t solve anything this team really needs.
