Posting someone's height means nothing. Ben Wallace was like 6'6 and one of the best defensive players of all time.

Its the players skillset to go with their size is what matters. I have yet to see CMB play against NBA players so I'll reserve comments until I at least see Summer League.

I do agree, we need to see CMB play he very well could play bigger, but people already suggesting he can take backup C minutes is premature...

He won't be able to play C....We can try it but it won't be successfull imo....People thought Queen would not be able to play backup C cause hes too small....Queen Towers over CMB....It won't work...

CMB is a full time 4....If his shot progresses its possible you can throw him on the wing as well.....He can play C in spurts depending on matchups....Like i posted before our 6'1" PG is up to CMBs Chin....Cs in the NBA will tower over him....

Mo Wagner at end of August, assuming he is healthy/recovered, would be a good get

Coming off a torn ACL. Give him 2 year minimum with player option year 2.

He would be a great get but im very sure he'll go for more than the minimum. Wagner is meant to be paired beside a defensive stud like CMB/Mogbo.

Barnes can also gaurd 1-5 does that mean he should be a full time C?....No....Draymond Green could play the 5 in spurts but if you play him there full time your team is going to suffer....Thats why he has been a PF for all his career and paired with guys like Bogut/Looney for his whole career...

If CMB is your C your team is getting out rebounded....No matter how strong he is...A 7 footer will just reach over top of him .....

It will be matchup based on if he is playing C....

Hes only 6'7" in shoes ....That is not big enough to gaurd 7 footers on a nightly basis....He will be best as a 4 for now and try and develop his shot so he could be a 3/4 long term...

We could use Markis Nowell as our backup center lol

Not sure if youre confusing me with someone else because I've never mentioned Al Horford. Hes too good and accomplished to be a backup C on a team like ours.

I've never seen CMB play against nba calibre players but hes currently projected as a PF so I'd prefer not to play him out of position immediately.

Mogbo has a chance to become a decent one based on his crazy physical tools but he needs to start by making layups first lol.

Horford is also 6'8 BAREFOOT that makes him 1.5 inches taller than CMB and 1.75 inches taller than Mogbo. So Horford, who's always been one of the smallest full time C's in the league is clearly bigger.

Ben Wallace is listed as 6'9. Both on basketball reference and on NBA.com.

Height does matter for a Big. Thats why its called BIG. Its in the name.

Ben Wallace was 6'9, so no outlier here. And Draymond plays PF. He only plays C if they go with a small lineup. And Draymond is really strong, which makes it possible for him to guard bigger dudes at times. But it is still a mismatch, when he has to guard a Jokic.

There is a huge difference, between beeing able to guard 1 through 5 and playing Center as the main position.
It only means, that he can switch to every position, without it beeing automaticly a mismatch.

There is a Reason why players like AD or even Giannis dont want to play the 5 as it is really taxing on their bodies. That why guys like Gobert, Hartenstein, Poeltl, Adams, etc.. have a job in this league.

Very few players only defend one position all game other than your traditional Cs and smaller guards.

CMB isn't a full-time C, but he's going to play minutes there. He will also defend Fs and switch onto guards.

If Poeltl is playing 28-30 mins, you have 18-20 minutes still to play, and CMB should be able to fill some of those minutes. Mogbo can play some minutes there along with Barnes as well.

Agreed. The danger/risk is a Poeltl injury.

If he's taking the minimum he's going back to Orlando to play with his brother.

The lineup we see next season is going to be drastically different than the lineup we saw for the majority of the season last year.

Raptors didn’t have Ingram and they clearly kept guys out of games longer than they needed to while also staggering their starting lineup to encourage losing. They also turned up the notch on defense after that extended losing streak where it looked like they just got tired of losing.

We have no idea what this team will look like till they play. Most of the moves were already done last season. Let’s hope the development focus pays off and a guy like Gradey Dick comes back a better shooter. I also think CMB is going to be a very good player
