At what point will realgm hold him accountable and stop finger pointing his teammates? I think its time to put the top 10 player of all time debate to rest.

Embiid according to realgm is the biggest "fraud" and doesnt deserve his mvp so then why should he be held to the standard of a 3 time mvp? The man missed two seasons to start his career with bad knees its a miracle he became what he he became not another Greg Oden.

Joel has never beaten a good team in the playoffs . In pivotal games he has come up so small (game 4 Toronto and game 7 Boston). Will very likely never get past the 2nd round, there are only 4 teams in the entire NBA that havent gotten to the conference finals since he was drafted. That's embarrassing. Get some new material.

"he handled this OKC team in 6"

This year's OKC team is much better than last year's by every measurement, not to mention roster improvements made and the benefit of the young core having gained an extra year of experience and internal improvement.

Referring to this year's OKC and last year's OKC like they're the same team is like saying the Knicks aren't contenders because they struggled against a Pistons team that failed to make the play-in last season.

Well, this year Mavs (pre-Nico), would have amazing chance of handling OKC again. Mavs improved the roster as well and they had 10 deep roster with Grimes.

I feel like that is one of those things, once you hit that peak it’s not something that can be taken away.

If you check my posts on this forum, you will notice it have been a fan of Jokic, and I believe he has been the best player in the leaque for atleast 3 years. However,I am starting to see a pattern with him when he goes up against decent centers. The only championship the lakers won against him had Dwight Howard guarding him. He lost last year against the Timberwolves because they had Karl town and gobbert. He was ok in the series against the clippers because he had Zubac guarding him. He is not dominating consistently in this series with okc because they have a descent center as well. Embid, when healthy has outplayed him when they went against each other. A pattern is at play here. It pretty obvious the leaque is devoid of quality centers in this day and age that a good center will literally post out of this world stats. In essence, I am starting to believe,Jokic, as great as he is,is not on Shag,Tim duncan, hakeem level. Atleast not yet. Those players will be unstoppable in this era.Just a thought!

I just don’t get this. He was just okay in the Clippers series? He averaged a 24 point triple double in that series while shooting 50% from the floor and 45% from 3. And it’s not like he had 1 or 2 splash games in that series which tweaked the averages, 4 out of the 7 games that series he had a triple double. To me this just screams “HIM”. Averaging a 24 point triple double against Zubac who was damn good all year long.

This series, ya he had 2 rough games. I think the fact that people view that 4th game as also a bad game, is just more evidence that he’s “HIM”. That game he put up 27/13/3 with 4 steals. It’s viewed as such a bad game for him, because he shot 7/22 that game, which is such a rare thing for him. He’s also put up 2 of the better playoff games we’ve seen from anyone in quite a long time this series. He also completely dominated last night’s game. So he’s been flat out dominant in 3 of the 6 games, bad in 2, and put up big numbers on bad efficiency in the other. And this series sticks out because of how consistent he usually is. So dominating 3 out of 6 games against the best defense in the NBA is viewed as a slight for him.

You say he struggled against Rudy and Kat last year. Okay well he still averaged 29/11/8 on 59 TS% in that series. They also played Kat/Rudy the year before and he averaged 26/12/9.

And the year Denver won the championship. He faced Rudy, AD, and Bam. A 4x DPOY and 7x All defense big in Rudy, a 5x All defense and 3x block leader in AD, and a 5x All defense guy in Bam. With all 3 guys giving different challenges. Rudy with his freakish height, AD with the freakish length to go with his athleticism, and Bam the smaller big, but explosive.

Again I just think all these things are just more proof that he is “HIM”. Like when we’re calling a series where you averaged 24/11/10 on 50% shooting and 45% from 3 just an “ok” series. You have to be talking about the elite of the elite. By most metrics, this OKC team is supposed to be one of the best teams we’ve seen in awhile. This series is now headed to game 7 and it’s not like Murray has carried them, he’s averaging 22ppg on 54 TS% and 2 BPM this series.

Jokic is clearly being “HIM” in these playoffs. And the fact that people aren’t blown away from him these playoffs, just goes to show he has set such a ridiculous standard now, that anything outside of huge impact and freakish efficiency, he feels “off” and just okay.

You must not have watched him consistently. To say Jokic averaging 24 points a game and a triple double is akin to being happy that lakers center, hayes, scored a triple double in a series. Scoring a triple double for hayes is an anomaly for hayes, and should be all over sport center. Not for Jokic. Jokic is that great! He is something I can't describe. I believe he struggled in that clippers series based on his standard.
