If by "title" you mean play-in champs - you might not be as insane as you sound

I think its more probable Twix's theory that they might be waiting for Kuminga's price to drop or potentially targeting another player via trade that we haven't though of yet. The Bucks re-signing 4 rotation players from last year just doesn't pass the smell test of a team that's queuing up a Giannis trade.

Let’s make this interesting. Both of you put your life savings in escrow, winner takes all.

You're probably right. I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll just let things play out.

After we secure Giannis and then sign and trade Duncan for LeBron he’s the perfect spot up shooter to put around them. Plus he’s a Klutch guy, the stars are aligning

I don't know what he's thinking to believe Charlotte will finish better than us this year. Maybe in anoth3r 4 years or so but definitely not this year.

FYI, for the record, in my general recent posting history, I've hedged against Mia's likely failure this season in the event they do something unlikely and trade for a star.

That has no bearing on our bet, tho. Ie, If they get Giannis or Lebron, I'm obviously changing my expectations on where I think Mia will finish in the standings and will happily pay my bet to you if/when I lose the bet.

I think it's more probable we're getting Duncan Robinson AKA the gift that keeps on giving on a 4 years 55 Mil deal.

Bet is a bet and if i lose, i lose.

If Mia finishes 1 game better than Charlotte and loses in the play-in, people will say "haha you lost" and totally ignore the central point that Im making about the team, which is fine, and is what I signed up for.

If they acquire a "star" I'll scratch the bet, because that'll clearly be unfair. I want to bet you with this version of the team. A version that's still superior to Charlotte 8-)

Probably explains why we’re trying to bleed the Lakers dry for Wiggins. We likely make 1 move to acquire an asset(s) and let these Giannis/LeBron situations play out over the next week

Whats our current trove?

We have all our 1sts cept for 27.

We may have a 2nd or 2.

We have young players in Larsson, Ware, Jovic and JJJ. Id like to keep Ware out of this as functional size is extremely rare.

We then have Wiggs as an asset. Can he get us Rui, Knecht and a 1st? Thats such a good deal for us though.

Then you can add in Rozier as a nice expiring.

Our ammo looks legit.

Without looking into it you pretty much got it. I think we have 3 1sts we can trade right now, hopefully get a 1st out of the Wiggins deal to get us 4. Then I think if we trade one of our current 1sts for a future 1st and kind of shuffle around the years that we own we can get around some of the trade restrictions and open up availability to trade a 5th 1st in a deal for Giannis. Our boy Ware would have to go though unfortunately I would say.

I’m not 100% on the pick thing but I think I came across that somewhere, I haven’t looked into it myself.
