Me too but I am not sarcastic. I'd roll with these guys, see how the youth gels, and if all healthy assess the situation from there, at the trade deadline.

Last season was hard to ascertain things from. BI did not play - will he gel with the others, IQ was not in a rhythm due to injury, RJ may have improved including on D but can he sustain it, will Scottie continue to take bad 3's, was Dick regression last year just temporary.

Walter and Shead look promising - can they take another step, what do we have in CMB, can Chomche play at all, can they teach Mogbo to make a layup or dunk when he is 3 feet away.

So many questions. The only clearly known quantity is Poeltl.

I don’t think we need more trades unless it's a spectacular slam dunk buzzer beater winner kind of trade.

Interesting tidbit in here is that Bobby wanted to extend Pascal but Masai was against it. Was that common knowledge?
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Not common knowledge but a safe assumption that Masai was either the catalyst for, or on board with, not signing him. He had final say on all moves like that.

Sure but the part about Bobby wanting to extend Pascal to increase value for trade later is new and likely thrown in to sell him as his own man. Masai didn’t want to take the risk of injury or a dip in production.

if we find out that Masai was the one pushing for Scottie to be the "face of the franchise" and Bobby wasn't, this board is going to explode

I agree - this is most likely PR spin to make Bobby look good - I'd bet if Pascal was coming off a down year we won't hear this version of the story.

he said there would be big deals happening. I assumed he just mean big free agent signings.

I am ready to trade RJ to Utah for Collins and a pick. It would open things up a bit on the roster and at least we would have something to talk about

Not likely, that's exactly the context they used to share the example. Just to keep tabs, we know Masai owned up to mistreating Pascal. We also know he took full responsibility for the Poeltl trade and giving his guys one more chance. At the time it was reported that some in the organization wanted to blow it up. Maybe that was another instance.

I think this news is really just to give fans an answer to 'why didn't you fire everyone?'

Daniel Ainge will make the Raps throw in the pick instead.

More likely is the Bucks send the Jazz their final unprotected 1st with Kuzma and Pat C for John Collins and Kessler.

a 1st and 2 bad contracts for collins and kessler doesn't seem like enough
