Bill Simmons mentions how the apron makes it harder for teams to build dynasties. There's also the piece that owners are just cheap. How many home playoff games did the Pacers have this year? You're making millions per game. They couldn't afford Turner's deal?

Lopez - 13.0/5.0/1.8 - 1.9BPG - 62.4TS%
Turner - 15.6/5.6/1.5 - 2.0BPG - 61.2TS%

So instead of paying Lopez $10m or whatever it would have cost to retain him... they instead are gonna pay $47M to stretch Dame and get Turner
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Turner looked lost on offense in the playoffs. This is not the slam dunk for Milwaukee. They are still thin on the wings

This upcoming season is pretty much a wash for the Pacers.

No point in wasting money when they can sign Ayton for much less.

Man I couldn't imagine being a Pacers fan. Got screwed in the Finals by the refs and now their owners being cheap again.

Dame just got waived too. That's how they can afford to sign him.

Guess Ayton can finally go to IND as he had originally wanted after PHX didn't give him that max extension, eh?

he stunk in the playoffs lol

He was bad offensively. He was still huge defensively. They were bleeding points in the Thomas Bryant minutes when he was on the bench

I would assume Dame to the Lakers after he recovers.

Bucks did him dirty and damn what a failure.

Talk about an ideal partner to slot next to Giannis to help cover for Turners underwhelming rebounding. The Bucks have assembled quite the front court with Kuz and both Prince and Bobby resigned.

Bucks are like the bizarro Celtics where all their good players are front court guys and all of Bostons best players (with Tatum out) are backcourt guys

How they were in the apron. They don't have the cap space for this. They also have zero picks to offer Ind in a sign and trade

Is shams drunk or something?

Edit they waved dame lol. Now that is a massive buyout

The Tyrese injury changed everything. Even more reason for me to be mad they played him when they shouldn't have.

Nope. Ayton to the Pacers.

Much cheaper than Turner.

Much worse.
