IDK. He played hard and was one of the few bright spots but yet again its less about him as a player but moreso a waste of roster management...probably should have moved him at the deadline.

We also only have one actual power forward

Yabu isn’t that good, his shot release is too slow for a stretch four, and he lacks the verticality and rim protection to hold up as a small ball five.

For everything good Morey does, he does something equally as moronic. There was no reason not to move him at the deadline. The logic was they wanted to keep him because they thought they could re-sign him. Turns out they could have re-signed him, but chose not to. It's not like they got outbid by a surprise big offer. In hindsight that decision looks amateurish.

I don’t know if he offers anything more then Watford except the volume shooting at 38%. Watford offers more creation and playmaking. Rebounding probably similar but the 3 point shooting takes a step back unless Watford has some catch and shoot numbers that speak otherwise.

Still believe we are trying to dump Drummond now so we can use the MLE. Who do we want to use it on? Has to be that unless we are caving to Grimes demands lol

Josh Harris CHEAPS OUT again! They obviously decided to replace Yabu with Watford in order to cut costs.

Could have kept both but Joshy needs one more new yacht!!!

Knicks fans are gonna love Yabu

I almost can’t even react to it because I’m so stunned by the Bucks waiving Lillard and signing Turner.

Lillard needed to be waived to build a team around Giannis now

Yeah, I think it was the right move but just wasn’t expecting it. We’ve never seen a contract that large get stretched but the new CBA has changed the equation.

To be honest, I don’t buy that Giannis didn’t know the Bucks were planning to waive Lillard. There’s just too much risk for both the Bucks and Giannis to sit around waiting for Dame to recover. And with Brook Lopez gone, they clearly need a center who can both shoot and protect the rim.

The Nuggets have won this offseason by simply replacing the chaff on their roster for better players.

must be nice.

Glad we didn't re-sign Yabu.
