Going from Lopez to Turner isn’t that much of an upgrade but I guess they had no choice since Lillard is likely out for the whole year anyway so they only have this season to really make an effort to keep Giannis

It's likely he can't play this season, so even though Giannis loves him, he knows something had to be done. I think MIL still has another move to make, but I can't see them getting over the hump this year to win it all.

thats likely the plan. Nembhard/Nesmith/Siakam probably won't completely bottom out but they can be selective about minutes ect.
