Giannis wants to win. Having Dame still here wasn't going to allow that to happen. He's fine with it and saving face. It was a worthy experiment that failed. Point Giannis returns with an excellent big.

Impressive manuevering by Horst here. Gotta give it up to him. The roster still needs a facelift though.

We can't be serious and starting Kyle Kuzma.

Wonder if any team give Dames the Ingles deal. I would roll the dice on Dame being a net positive off the bench guy come mid-April over some other guy left on the market.

I think it's because of Giannis posting on Twitter "I don't know what's going on right now man."

I don't necessarily think it means he is unhappy, but that can't be ruled out.

I guess, it is anymore so than 12 hours ago? In some ways I think we in a better position to pivot to tank than we were yesterday

100%. Giannis can’t publicly do Dame dirty.

This is all an act. And it will pump the value of our 2031 and 2032 picks in the minds of a dope GM.

I guess if the cap is going up significantly, It won't hurt so bad.

Even though Shooting the J has Lopez derangement syndrome, I want to compliment him on being the first guy to talk about waving and stretching Lillard. Was a great idea when he first brought it up on this board two months ago. I loved it, and it now happened.

The Bucks understood late career Dame was a high-calorie, low impact scorer at this point in his career. There was nothing to wait around for in 2026.

This move at least gives us a shot, keeping Dame would've wasted another year of Giannis. It had to be done. There's a better chance right now of getting another chip than a few hours ago.

I mean, RIP "Center Giannis" though. Doc is still here and it's clear that we're gonna be playing just as many jumbo lineups as ever, because we've somehow committed even more money to the frontcourt lol.

Wasn't happy about trading Jrue, firing Bud, trading Midds. They're letting him save some face with his friends. Giannis absolutely knows what is happening.

Part of the fine print of Giannis staying is Giannis able to publicly say how he loves anyone coming in and especially how he hates anybody leaving. Horst has no problem taking that bullet. Turner's contract seems fine to me for a well-above average big. I need to know more about how stretching Dame affects the finances specifically.

Giannis, Turner, Bobby, Pat, Green, Jackson, Livingston, Smith along with Dame’s dead money cost 156,236 mil and that’s with not taking into account the 4 empty spots (KPJ and GTJ probably share the room exception).

The cap is at 154,647, which means that someone else has to be involved too. Pat waived and stretched too?

Okay okay so now my head is just spinning, so please bear with me if I sound like a complete moron in my next sentence. But like...if no one claims Dame and assumes his albatross contract...we can just...sign him again right?

We got a starting mobile big and he can shoot. Turner is perfect next to Giannis.
