I really don’t see anything wrong with Giannis politely saying he’d rather have Turner on the team than Dame. They’re trying to win. Even if it leaks, the injury gives him an out.

I think Giannis is just putting pressure on the front office. We aren't winning without a good offensive guard. Go get one.

Bucks still waifer thin,
Giannis, porter, Turner, kuzma, trent.

Am I missing anyone decent?

They still have a steep hill to climb to make that team good

Bucks fans may sell you on Tauren Prince being the best shooter in the NBA

If they can solve the centre position, there's a decent team there. Still probably outside of the Top 8 in the East, but something for Haliburton to return to in 2026/2027.

I am probably overreacting. This was out of left field though.

He did shoot 43% from 3 and played OK Defense and just signed for the min.

We also should not ignore that the Pelicans are major losers here, too.

Turner has long been a great potential fit with Giannis.

But I don’t like the Bucks rotation outside of their bigs.

Huge respect for the Bucks FO, they made the right call
Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

Love the Turner addition, hate it for Indy, but wow this whole shake up I feel makes the East even worse.

Their last Hail Mary attempt to keep Greek. But makes it hard to add around him long term.

I love this deal if it's the first move. Not as much if it's THE move.

Who's the best guard/wing Milwaukee could get for Kuzma, Pat C, 2031 1st unprotected, and whatever other swaps/"worst of" picks they have left?

Jrue Holiday without the unprotected.

Where does Indy go for a center now?

This is some next level desperation. Turner is fine but he is like a top 75 guy now, likely give you 2023 Lopez numbers. Cap is wreaked for 5 years, and still have very little ways to improve. They are better now than they would have been, but not by much.

Cool, they need a creative guard though. A good one.

Okongwu trade? They also liked Ayton before, which seems bad.

I strongly doubt they would have made this move without running it by Giannis first. The national media can't hide their desperation to get Giannis to a larger market, so I'd take any report like this with a grain of salt.

Yeah and also - What's Giannis supposed to say if asked - "F that guy, get him out of here!" lol

He's also tweeted out that he's excited about getting Myles and reportedly recruited Myles actively.

Feels like another "source off"?

Kind of tough to solve the centre position and maintain that lineup. Somebody, or multiple, would have to go in any trade for said center for salary matching and value purposes. Indy doesn't have cap space, so the mechanism is difficult.

Any interest in Gafford for Indy? If so, for whom?

Wow, didn't see this coming! Biggest shock move of the off season for sure.

Yes, the bucks absolutely wanted to "do something", but does swapping brook for turner move the needle? The 1-3 rotation is still brutal.
