Some of y'all will never learn. At some point you're going to have to accept that the front office knows what it's doing.

The belief was also that no FA's would sign here without talking to a coach.

we weren't going to be a 2nd apron team this year anyway so it really doesn't matter.

Not only that, even if we were this is the time to go for it. The East is a wreck.

I've wanted Yabu ever since I first saw him play internationally. I wanted him when he played for Philly, but didn't think we'd be able to get him until this offseason. I like him so much more for his all around game and being younger than Horford. But he has a player option for the second year, so he might not be with us long if he lives up to our hopes for him

it is but with Mikal and Mitch potential extensions looming you probably need to save the 2nd apron for the next year.

I think next plan of business is to see that Mikal extension come in shortly.

Knicks having to penny-pinch with the money meant they had to give him something to get him or he would've went elsewhere.

Did the Knicks just trigger the second apron?
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

Since Leon has been here the front office has always made additions in free agency. Why the fans tend to always panic during free agency I will never understand.

I'm feeling attacked! It's funny because it's true. The negative spin on the coaching search and the Clarkson move had me reeling a bit. This Yabusele move calmed me down a LOT!

Get a backup PG and stay under the 2nd apron one more year. I like the current depth much more now than I did 30 minutes ago.

For a team with virtually no flexibility, the Knicks did pretty good. The bench can be pretty dynamic now.

Big guy with bounce reminds me of Zion. This is going to look like a different team.

Does this mean the Knicks are about to bring in a head coach that wants to run on every possession? 8-)

No longer have to worry about fatigue because of a short rotation.

We essentially traded Payne and Precious for Clarkson and Yabusele

I'll just say it, I think both of those are just straight up upgrades, but even if they're not, I don't think they're worse

So if we make 1 more solid bench addition for the minimum, we're good. And by that I mean essentially we need someone to replace Shamet, which I really don't think would be difficult to do even with just the minimum

Then best case scenario, you might get something out of Kolek/Dadiet/Hukporti as well, which we don't need but would be nice to have.

Great signing. He brings a different element to the team. Hell it might be worth starting him at the 4, moving Mikal and OG to their natural positions and bringing Hart, Clarkson, Deuce and Mitch off the bench. The spacing for the starting 5 would be excellent and Yabu brings some of the hustle Hart brought to the unit.

I honestly have never really paid much attention to him outside of a few Olympic games. How is his defense? Can he play the 4 effectively?
