I think it's more over usage via training rather than playing.

When LeBron finally retires, he can make another billion dollars giving a detailed insight on how to train properly.

He was never a big advocate of weight training. He is all about maintaining.

Now he is an enigma and genetic freak, but whatever he did to his body was the way to be IMO.

He averaged 71 GAMES A SEASON IN 22 YEARS !!! That's bonkers

Lebron is an outlier.

Also, as Presti says in the clip, the game is vastly different today than it was even just like 5-6 years ago. So most of those 22 years for Lebron aren't even relevant to today's game since they were so long ago, when the game was very different.

Well, I don't agree with Presti.

My son is a competitive junior athlete and my nephew just graduated from a Div 1 lacrosse program. The amount of time these kids are playing is increasing exponentially and they starting younger and younger. Big business and nobody wants to miss out.

Baseball has conceded and just decided that tommy john surgery is inevitable and they will still draft those players and sign them to big contracts.

The highest level softball pitchers can pitch forever, back to back it doesn't matter. Underhand throwing is natural vs overhand throwing.

Youth sports will continue to grow all over, training needs to be adjusted and more research and studies need to be conducted.

Look at the players who have had these achilles injuries. Majority players who were high minute long career players.

ACL injuries are different because they fall awkwardly or step awkwardly and pop. They've done a good job understanding the importance of strong hips when it comes to helping protect knees.

I'd love to hear from international posters why soccer players have such long careers.

It's a bridge year. Just accept it.

Give me until trade deadline.

Val to Denver guess you can cross them off the Horford list.

The Nuggets could still go after Horford, but maybe this makes it a little less likely.

FROM SHAMS:

The Sacramento Kings are trading Jonas Valanciunas to the Denver Nuggets for Dario Saric, sources tell ESPN.

LeBron can give insights on his PEDs.

He's a genetic freak. You can still rupture your achilles or tear an ACL while on PED's.

He's an enigma.

Bucks more balanced with JB than Giannis.

Ever since Middleton lost his greatness, the Bucks have been weak at the wing position.

With JB, Myles Turner and Portis will be at their natural position and JB at the SF spot.

Bucks will be faster and all 5 starters can shoot 3s.

If I was Denver, I'd much rather have Al Horford than Jonas V. I know they also got off Saric's $5 million, but still Valanciunas is calcified at this point, hes a statue

Hawks

The raptors are not a playoff lock and should be in the bubble teams group. The hawks are a lock for the playoffs. Made it last year and got better

THe Hawks were not a playoff team last year. They lost in the play in to miami, who got the 8 seed..

My bad. Overall point still stands tho. Hawks won 40 games and made the play in. The raptors won 30 games and made the lottery. Raptors have further to climb to make the playoffs. What have they done to warrant a 12-15 game improvement? They’ll have Ingram for a full season but he doesn’t move the needle that much

Let it play out.

You have no choice because JB is walking through that door.

And Derrick White is walking through that door, fans.

For now ...

Is it worth pissing off Tatum?

I think the 'player x will be pissed bc they traded their friend' narrative is fantasy bs. We're talking about grown men not teenage girls.

Brandon Ingram will help a tad. He didn't suit up one game for Toronto last season.
