We have 12 guaranteed contracts at 205 million payroll. It will be tight to fit in anything but two way players for the rest of the squad. Unless we trade someone.

Honestly I don’t know I think they will see if a backup center shakes lose. There was rumors the rockets might cut Landale for example.

Also that Wizards pick can be attached to a player and sent in a sign and trade. The Cam Whitmore situation or another good player on a rookie contract might be a move they pursuit.

Dadiet is their pet project right now. We will see his progress in SL

Nanji and the rest playing in summer league for only one or two spots, the competition should be good.

I still think we need a shooter. A lot of the better teams have multiple guys that can knock it down off the bench even if they are young and not really in rotation.

We were interested last year. Sixers kind of stole him from us.

I remember we wanted to trade them Sims and they were like no. I also think he was a CAA client for a bit.

I think Yabuty slides into the starting 4 spot moving OG back to his more comfortable 3 spot which makes the Knicks 'bigger'. Takes away some of the bench depth that some probably thought this signing added but I just have a feeling this is the way it works out.

Allows for the Knicks to have a true 5 out starting group and then let the bench mob of Mitch, Hart, Deuce and Clarkson create some mayhem against opposing subs.

I've always thought Milwaukee would do a total rebuild if they trade Giannis but if he asks out, KAT for Giannis seems plausible. They don't need to do a rebuild with what they've got.

I wonder if Milwaukee can sign a guy like Schroeder.

I think we are going double big, but Yabu is definitely a candidate to have them play 5 out moving Hart to the bench.

So he was afraid to give him much time with JB as a starter. This is one of the many things I found so frustrating about Thibs.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea. I just don't see it. It's not like it matters much. The next HC will have options which is a good thing. Get me a backup PG. Speaking of HCs....get me one of those too.

You don't want Clarkson as a starter. TOO low BBIQ . You want him as a high energy guy of the bench who if off can be quickly sat down....if on he gets more minutes...he is the type that is a nice positive off bench when on or huge negative when off.

I don't really care to have Clarkson at all. Starting? Like I said, it's wild to think Deuce will start and Hart goes to the bench. Mitch could start. Hell, Yabusele started like 40 games last year due to injury. Hart automatically losing his starting job to Deuce is what Statmuse is suggesting.

Knicks still have 3 roster spots and 3 2 way spots available. Plenty of room to sign McCullar, Nanji, Diawara and Pate

Idk Giannis and Turner is maybe the scariest Front court in the the whole league. I really think people are underestimating how strong of a move that was for the Bucks. Also Indy is really hurt by that move. Idk if Turner does it if Hali doesn’t get hurt. People really are underestimating how bad an Achilles tear is for a guard player and Turner may have left cause he saw the writing on the wall for that team long term.

Giannis and Turner is going to be a problem.

Look at how fleeting success is. One minute you're on top of the world, exceeding expectations, and the next minute you're a bottom-feeder. F you Hali!!

A sneaky move might be to trade for Jrue who may not be happy based on not being happy there the last time.

The Knicks can definitely go double big even to start for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if we see Mitch subbed out early and then return later to keep one of Mitch and KAT on the floor at all times.

Rich Paul asked we sign one of his clients (Clarkson) and LeBron asked for a big bodied banger to take some pressure off him at the PF position (Yabu)

It's all coming into focus
