What team is he on? I don’t mind him, I just hated how he never would shoot on a team that needed shooters.
The team of the day, joined forces with Giannis himself.

What?

Oh I see now he signed for 2 years with Mil, with a player option on that 2nd year. Why give Gary a player option lol?

He’s going to be a Magic killer isn’t he?

Its must be a vet minimum, Bucks probably wanted to get it done fast in case Denver or other better destination team could jump them

I must give it to Bucks, what a shocking move to waive Lillard, steal Turner and now Gary. They are going to be relevant next season.

I'm still not that high on the Bucks, maybe a 42-44 win team.

They’re the same team that limped to a 5 seed last year only with no Dame at all and Turner instead of Lopez.

Not concerned.

The east is going to beat up on each other all season. There are a few clear favorites (nyk, Cleveland, firing on cylinder magic) but in reality any team will win any given night all season.

The playoff are gonna come down to matchups and healthy. Who ever can stay healthy and have favorable matches will make a deep run in to the ecf & finals. The magic have had two tough opponents the last 2 playoffs. It's time for a little luck to be on our sides for once.

I think people are underestimating just how good the magic can be of they have everything clicking and stay relatively healthy. This team matches up with any other team well and they finally added some play making and shooting. If they somehow get a flip of the switch and everyone starts shooting somewhat close to league average they are going deep. It's quite simple to see a path for a deep playoff run.

Hawks are a fun team with some solid stuff for the future, especially depending on what the Pelicans pick is, but don't see them as a contender.

Bucks always have a decent floor with Giannis and can probably flip Kuzma + a pick for some kind of scoring help, so they should be decent, but not sure I see a contender there either.

Cavs and Knicks are the clear best teams in the East. Magic need Paolo and Franz to take a step forward with their shooting efficiency and playmaking to reach that level. But I do think the Magic should be 3rd. Sixers could be interesting if Embiid was prime Embiid, but I assume that is just not going to happen.

Not concerned about the Hawks yet.

I’m more concerned at the Knicks. They look like man against boys when they play against us.

Our guys need to get stronger and toughen up.

Nuggets got LOT better.

I still don't get how CBA allows crap that Bucks just pulled.
Still feels like NBA teams can do just about everything if they are willing to pay for it.

Hard to completely restrict any team in professional sports. You just don't want to get soccer level imbalance of specific teams. I think now teams will quite literally pay for it at a later point though if they get particularly greedy.

NBA will learn in painful way that parity is only interesting to hardcore fans on internet that make vocal minority of basketball fans.

Ehh.. superteams were not that fun either. And you can still build "imbalanced" teams today, you just have to get smarter about it. Being able to have 3 mega stars and have a bunch of good vets sign below market value because you're Miami or LA or whatever isn't that fair.

They know they'll pay tax for a year, then a lot of contracts get lower or come off the books.
