I mean there are no lies told in this here tweet. For whatever reason a certain contingent of Bucks fans tried to paint Dame as something he wasn't the minute he arrived in Milwaukee. Why? I have no idea.

The idea of Dame not taking a player option coming off a torn Achilles at his age is preposterous. He was 1000% opting into that year.

Could be he meant before the injury happened

Never wanted Chris Paul on this team, BUT signing him as the back up PG to lead the 2nd unit for like 15-20 minutes a night would make a lot of sense.

I hate when rich people act like having to do stuff poor people do, is so difficult. Getting paid 60 mil to play basketball 82 days of the year (when you habe a chef, nanny, and assistant) is not exactly hard times.

I didn’t dislike Dame, but his whole “its hard to be away from family” was tiresome for those of us who work hard and sometimes have to be away from family.

And just because Dame is rich doesn't mean he's not human.

I wonder if Hardaway or Brogdon would take a minimum. It doesn’t seem like they have any suitors willing to pay more.

I think if there was any inkling that he wouldn't take that max year PO after a torn achilles, we probably would have kept him and taken our chances

CP3 would do wonders for our offensive structure. But Giannis allegedly loathes him, so I don't think we'd ever bring him in.

I don’t understand the issue from the players perspective around Dame? We just did him a huge favor no? The only negative consequence to this is the Bucks eating the dead money, now Dame can continue his career on his own accord and do whatever he wants when he’s ready. Did he need to be a huge hindrance for the next 2 years as a Buck to keep Giannis happy? That just doesn’t make sense to me. Is Giannis upset in the way he’s just sad it didn’t work out or is he upset in the way he’s actually pissed off and now has questions about the commitment to winning? 1 of those makes much more sense than the other and it doesn’t take a 3 digit IQ to figure it out..

Marc Spears seems like a good guy but he seems really stupid every time I listen to him on a podcast. Not surprised he would be that gullible

Giannis/Turner/Bobby has to be the best front court in the NBA?

Yeah, like if he wanted to be here we could sign him later this year or next year and come our way ahead money wise. Or gives him the option to sign with a contender

I believe so. Dame can rehab and go back to Portland to do it. We keep the 31.

Hope Harris is finally healthy. Had a hip issue with Denver, and tore his meniscus, had plantar fasciitis, and had a bad hammy issue with Orl.

It doesn't hurt Dame at all, and I highly doubt Giannis is actually upset because the Bucks don't do this without the Giannis okay.

But as the report is coming from Haynes, this is what I actually think happened.

1. Giannis texts Dame - "Damn man, I can't believe they did that. It really sucks that you're going!"
2. Dame tells Haynes - "Giannis just texted me. He told me he's not happy about it."
3. Haynes fires off the tweet.

What kind of players do we think Kuz/Pat plus 31 could get us?

I'm guessing the teams will demand 31 just to take on Kuz and Pat.
