Stretching Dame to sign Myles… way too desperate. Myles, Giannis, Kuzma isn’t a title contender lol

KAT at 55mill. is overpaid by somewhere between 12-15mill. which has essentially cost us another strong bench contributor in the DFS class of players.

I'm still hoping against all hope that there is some opening for Giannis because that KAT contract is a big detriment to team building. He effectively makes 20mill. more than Brunson per year.

Bridges really shouldn't be getting more than 30mill. a year but he has all the leverage and is likely to get more....

You pretty much said it before me. Can’t have all these big contacts need role players and the big contract guys taking up a lot. That’s why we can’t have good bench players even with Brunson pay cut. Biggest problem is they have big contracts but produce like role players.

I suspect that the Knicks tell Bridges how much money they have left to extend him, and they mutually agree either to a doable number or they trade Mikal for someone decent before he leaves as a free agent.

No worries, Kuz will help them win Best Dressed. He may not be a winning player, but he prides himself on being stylish!

yo if MIL just put themselves into cap hell by stretching Dame for Giannis to hate that move that is wild they didn't consult with him...

Giannis leaking it just to cover his tracks so it doesn't look like he did Dame dirty is way more likely than MIL not consulting him before they basically put over 20 MM of dead cap on the books for 5 years

You'd think they would consult Giannis before doing that.

Didn't he do something similar when the Bucks traded Jrue to the Trailblazers for Dame, and also when they replaced the head coach with Doc Rivers?

Neither of those moves are going to matter much this upcoming season.

Dame is out for the year, and Ayton, while talented, is such a lazy and undisciplined player. He would be a pretty big downgrade from Turner. And without Haliburton, they aren't going to be making much noise, either.
