I think the best game of Dame's tenure as a Buck was the first one. All downhill from there.

His best game as a Buck was 100% game 1 against Indy last year.

Was hyped beyond belief to get him, but it just didn't work out with the other factors in play - and maybe even in a vacuum. Better on paper than in practice. No ill will at all, but ultimately no big attachment to him either. Appreciate his time here and wish him well.

Mostly I just feel bad for him for how things worked out for him with the injury at his age. I hope he gets a bit of a swan song somewhere (hopefully not with Miami :-? ).

I meant more so the idea of Dame as a Buck rather than his actual play.

Hope he can recover and stay healthy on and mainly off the court with the health scare he had. Wish him the best in the future.

Again, this is an appreciation thread. If you have nothing to contribute move on.

Disappointing tenure but I bet if the bucks got Atkinson and a couple of better ancillary pieces it would've worked better. Good dude and good teammate. A 2 trapped in a PG body. Hope he gets to have one final stretch run in his career.

I can go either way on it. But let's keep this an appreciation thread. No need to crap on him now.

Not bashing, just saying he was only here one year and really didn't leave any kind of mark...

Nope. I'm with you.

I hold no ill will toward him and wish him the best though.

That shot against Sacramento was cool.

I was at Dame's first game as a Buck. He went for 39 in a 118-117 win over Philly. Fiserv was electric.

The idea of Dame was better than the reality of Dame. Hopefully he gets healthy and can still play.

Would've loved to see what Stotts could've cooked up for Dame and Giannis here.

If Griffin hadn't engaged in that shouting match with Terry, Dame might have worked out here.

Either way, best of luck, Dame.

Dame is one of those odd players where if you put him on a 35 team, he could make them a 45 win team.

But if you put Dame on a 55 win team, he could make them a 45 win team.

That is my takeaway after watching Dame up close every night as a Buck and that probably would have been my assessment of him when he still a Blazer.

If I had to say something nice or complimentary of Dame. I would say he's probably one of the best under 6'4 guys I have ever seen at the NBA level when it comes to taking the ball to the basket and finishing. Problem was, he only did that once or twice game. Every game thread when Dame would take it to the basket and finish and make it look easy I said Dame wouldn't;t be overrated if he did that more often..

Dame seemed more interested in Dame Time than actually helping the Bucks win games.

Sad that we never really figured out a way to get the best out of Dame. Him ageing and both him and Giannis not really knowing what to do without the ball made things very hard.
