Horst shouldn't be allowed to make trades or draft. Only handle free agency.

Biggest down side to today is that Bogi is no longer to be a 30 mpg player I fully expected 24 hours ago

So do we still have the full MLE? Bring in Kuminga or Grimes?

What is the best Kuzma deal?

I think all this makes Shams reporting make more sense. He’s still a tool don’t get me wrong. Imagine Horst sat Giannis down and told him all of this was the plan, I’m guessing Giannis said good luck let’s see what happens.

I have a sneaking suspicion we may move Green. Kuz/Green for Barrett works in the trade checker

Y’all need to get rid of Kuz that guy is poison on any roster. But realistically who would even take him though ?

Moving Green would be a bad idea. Move Ajax.

Love the busy offseason, it’s what makes the nba so exciting even when it’s over. It’s super fun to be a part of it too. With that being said, I’m not a huge fan of Turner. He seems like a perfect fit on paper but he has just as many, if not more flaws than Brook. We were on the wrong side of a great series from him but he’s going to struggle more than people think in certain matchups just like Brook.

I’ll be fascinating to see if they believe in that end of season lineup enough to start Green and Trent together and just upgrade Turner for Bobby. That lineup was so good and Turner is a serious upgrade to it.

Kuzma, Prince, Harris can be regular season innings eaters.

KPJ/Rollins
Trent
Green
Giannis/Bobby
Turner

That’s the bones of a nice playoff rotation. The mission should be to find one or two more guys to add to that.

Green should not be traded. AJax and Livingston can be add or not be added.

Edit: ok just saw the buyout stuff, that Micic probably won't be here. Still a steep price to get off an expiring who can still play when needed

soxperry wrote:So we spent two 2nds to reduce salary by 1.3M?

Thought so at first but reports are Micic will go back overseas and agree to a buyout. I am guessing it saves us at least 4-6 mil.

Does buyout amount reduce the cap hit for sure?

Assuming Micic agrees to take less than he is owed, yes. And I would imagine we only made the trade after confirming he'd give back enough money to make it work.

Based on Frank Madden's cap sheet, I think we still have the ability to use the full MLE? Currently $14.8 mil below the tax.
