Wait we got Yabusele!!!!?
I liked the idea of Nance, but Yabusele is even better. I love this guy's style, energy, and talent. Watch him get more and more minutes as we see him play.

listen for the TPMLE you aren't going to do much better than Yabu. He's in his prime and very productive offensively. But he's not starting next to KAT...he doesn't defend well enough for that.
You either are starting Deuce and going small or you start Mitch now and go big.
But either way Yabu is certainly someone that can be productive in 20 minutes or so. He is also a really good offensive rebounder so there will be some interesting lineups we can put out there and he has to be guarded at the 3 pt line.
he's ok. i would have rather had horford.
Horford is old.

Dennis Schroeder
Zach Lavine
Demar Derozan
Keegan Murray
Domantas sabonis
It’s better than what they had but they either need to find a rim protector to put next to sabonis or move on from him

Re: Trades and Transactions 2025 IV
I don't know why anyone would be eager to trade away the Knicks only small guard defender.
Without Deuce the rest of the guys are weaker defenders in Brunson, JC and Tyko or you're expecting bigger guys to chase around small guards all game long. If you try to bring in someone like Wright for cheap you add a situational guy not a two way player.
It's even more important to keep players out of the paint with ball pressure from the perimeter if you have weaker rim protectors, too.
It's silly, if you ask me.

We need a vet PG for the minimum. A 3rd stringer we can trust on the floor.

Cole Anthony or ben simmons
I would take either. Probably Ben. WE NEED A POINT GUARD. COLE may not be a true pg. We must remember that jb has the keys to this team. There are only so many seconds after he gets the ball. Getting these ball hogs makes Mikael disappear. And it's obvious that OG decided to get his shots midway through the yr. And I loved his production . We just don't need anymore ball dominant players . Bench or mot
I think Ben is perfect actually. Tall. Pass first. Defends. So I guess this will not happen

That team is still a mess and choosing Schroder over Monk who is a better player and younger is wild for a team that's not really going anywhere.
Also Schroder isn't really a traditional point guard. He's always been a score first guy like Monk.
Then they are rumored to sign Russ... Their spacing around Lavine is going to go to absolute chit.
Unless they have a move lined up to get rid of Derozan, Lavine or Sabonis then I don't really understand what the plan is here.

Re: Trades and Transactions 2025 IV
Some of us thought that Dame was blindsided and would be miserable from being dissed by MIL. We worried that Giannis would be really upset with the deal. According to Sam Amick of The Athletic,
https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6465715/2025/07/01/damian-lillard-waived-bucks-myles-turner-nba-free-agency/
What does this mean for Lillard?
League sources say Lillard is elated with this decision, as it puts him in the kind of basketball-first position that few All-Star level players, if any, have experienced in league history. In short, he’ll be able to join the contending team of his choosing, either sometime soon or perhaps next summer, without the financial aspect of the decision playing a significant part...
Not surprisingly, league sources say Lillard received calls from several contending teams very quickly after the news of his Bucks’ ending broke. The question now is whether he wants to sign with a team now and rehabilitate while under their care or wait until next summer to reassess the situation. All in all, it’s a dream scenario for Lillard. Especially considering he might have been heading for a change of scenery even before his injury.
As The Athletic reported in early May, Lillard and the Bucks were likely going to discuss whether he wanted to remain with the Bucks after last season. From the frustrations that came with the on-court fit to the fact that he struggled at times while being away from his children, it was no secret that Lillard wasn’t likely long for Milwaukee. Now, he leaves with a level of freedom not often seen in pro sports. — Sam Amick, senior writer
