They signed Turner to play with Giannis- this was about improving the team for Giannis.

It could blow up in their faces but in the short term I think it means Giannis stays.

This could really backfire on the Bucks. Not just Giannis wanting out, Turner could decide to backout of the deal too if Giannis is done with the Bucks.

I thought basic common sense dictated you didn’t make major roster moves without consulting your superstar who’s known to be weighing his future with the team.

That’s a bizarre turn.

It's said that Giannis was involved in Turner discussion and acquisition, however not in the Lillard stretch waiving.

Yeah, I said the same in the "Around the League" thread. Pretty crazy/risky if G.A. isn't on board.

99% sure Giannis was fully in the loop. Milwaukee paying Dame 22.5M each of the next five years to go away. Big time ballsy move for small market team. Only do that if they have Giannis fully signed off and going to stay.

So how does that even work from a cap standpoint? Dame doesn't count against the cap if waived? Cause no way they could fit Turner in otherwise.

Edit: I guess they can stretch it over 5 years? interesting.

The Bucks are cooked. They’ll be paying Dame $22M a year for 5 years. They don’t have a lot of depth and Giannis apparently doesn’t like that they waived Dame. They are not to be worried about next season and for the foreseeable future

I like a lot of their minor moves. Kevin Porter Jr, Gary Trent, and Taureen Prince all for like $16M total.

I hate players that act as though they are the gm like Giannis! I don’t want that clown near the Pistons

Bucks, Magic, Hawks, Cavs all have made nice upgrades this off season.

Yeah, the Pistons have definitely fallen down a peg although that's heavily dependent on young player development.

Brogdon would be a nice fit...has a injury History and not a typical PG but big, strong, good defender, good shooter and can defend 1-3

I think if anything, Pascal Siakam could possibly be had now. Not saying we are the team to go all-in for him but I can't see him keeping his value as high down the road. He's coming off a big playoff run and the Pacers might want to bottom out for a season now they lost Turner.

Pascal makes $45.5(age 32) , $49.0(age 33), and $52.3(age 34) the next three seasons.

This sounds like some bs. He personally recruited Turner. How tf ELSE would they even be able to get him other than stretching Dame?

Yeah this Giannis not happy about Dame is probably Giannis publicly being upset about his friend being released. Inside Giannis is very happy about this deal.

Not sure what he's done so you're throwing F word at him, but anyway, Michael porter Jr says hello. 20mil is nothing in comparison.

There's absolutely no human being on the Bucks more important to their success than Giannis.

That you have a problem with his voice being heard is strange.
