Guerschon Yabusele, Knicks Sign Two-Year, $12M Deal

Guerschon Yabusele and the New York Knicks have agreed to a two-year, $12 million contract. Yabusele will receive a player option for Year 2 ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Yabusele, who is represented by Richie Felder, Olivier Mazet and Drew Morrison, returned to the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers this past season after five seasons playing in Europe. Yabusele was on a one-year, $2.1 million deal with the Sixers.

In 70 games with the Sixers, Yabusele averaged 11.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 27.1 minutes with shooting splits of 50/38/73.

Great depth addition. The downside is, he's probably just in NY for 1 year and then he walks and gets more in free agency next year so NY will be looking for a backup big man next year too and without the tax payer MLE.

But for 25-26, I love this signing.
