I don't think Carlisle and Ayton would be a good fit for each other. Carlisle doesn't like lazy players with no work ethic.

I don't consider DLO an upgrade from Spencer Dinwiddie.

Looks like teams are pivoting away from the smaller lineups because of the way the Mavs are building their team.

So Milwaukee got Myles Turner. If Indiana somehow signs Ayton, Lakers are f*cked.

I read that Ayton has the same agent as Luka. He should put him in a nice situation in LA than Indiana. He plays well this year and gets to sign a bigger contract next year.

Yeah he does. I think IND doesn't even have cap space to sign him? Windy was reporting the only other competitor for him were Bucks who just got Turner.

Is this basically where we are right now?

Russell / Hardy / Williams - PG
Irving / Klay Thompson / Max Christie - SG
Flagg / Washington / Marshall - SF
Davis / Martin / Prosper - PF
Lively/ Gafford / Powell - C

Boston is done without any center. I am surprised that Boston is not in mix. I think Boston needs 2 bigs

Chicago hasn't found their center as well.

Perhaps it's. But let's factor in Wemby, OKC and Houston thirsting another trade for Giannis.

Why Khalil? Exum is so unreliable, always out, and still not a good shooter. Not worth a roster spot

Exum was shooting 42% from 3 last season compared with DoLo's 31%. Whenever he comes back, Exum produces on court. The most notable moment is how Exum and Dinwiddie make a shock defeat to the champion team in a blowout manner. Exum is more proven than you think. I'd waive Powell to re-sign Exum. Let OMax plays the third C/PF role to drive up his value or prove his worth. Powell can't play good playoff team but Exum can. OMax's value is not high. Or else, he's been moved on draft day.

I would keep Exum over Powell. I agree there.

If Flagg starts, that means he does at 18 - everything I wanted PJ to do for this team. Being a draymond lite. I'm not sure anyone ever tried to develop PJ but we'll see if Flagg can do those things I was hoping PJ would do. Kidd will be having him work on handling in summer league.

The East has a shortage of centers because all those guys went to the West.

After Dame's waived, Giannis seems to want out. I don't know what assets Bucks is looking for. But I bet Houston or San Antonio could be forerunner. If Giannis joins Houston, the nba games would become unwatchable.

No much of teams that will be of need on C upgrade, should be only BOS/CHI/IND/CHA/WAS/GSW/LAL/SAC. But if Ayton wants bigger role, and more competitive team, seems LAL is the most logical choice. Unless some bad teams like CHI/IND/WAS/CHA willing to give him the full MLE.

BOS is really bad on the PF/C positions. But they are right below 2nd apron, and have no choice, unless they continue to dump Simons/Hauser/Niang in exchange for PF/C, or more cap space for later operation.

Waiving Dame must have consulted with Giannis, and obtained his consensus first before proceed. Hence, I don't think Giannis will ask to leave, at least for this year.
