Not sure if I'm more happy about actually adding Turner, or watching the Pacer fanbase melting down, bashing the sh-t out of their franchise that they've been speaking so highly of.

Well yeah, of course. Eventually it's going to come crashing down, but the Bucks need to try to extend the Giannis window as long as possible. They easily could have collapsed things now and hope Giannis stays long term, but they decided to try to keep stretching things out. We've actually been very fortunate as fans that the team has been competitive for as long as it has been. We know what it's like on the other side.

Not arguing that but the future is going to be significantly worse than anything we’ve experienced before when it all comes crashing down

The only future that matters is when Giannis is no longer here. Until then, it's all-in. And it should be.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If we are opening up the cap space to sign Turner outright I think that would eliminate the MLE for us? I don't think we could do both?

Pretty sure Turner was just a normal FA signing and doesn't conflict with the MLE.

If we dipped below the cap (by waiving/stretching Dame) in order to open up the cap space needed to sign Turner then the MLE is no longer available to us. The MLE is only available to teams over the cap. From everything I'm understanding that would be the case here.

Bobby Marks is positive it wasn't the BAE.

Gonna have to head over there and take peak at the meltdown. That warms my heart.

The Gary Harris move is typical Horst chasing corpses lol. Honestly thought he was out of the league...But If you're going to make this move, make it on the same day you aquire Myles Turner!

Certainly a bigger swing than I thought he'd take, but if we still have the MLE then that plus Kuzma/2031 1st should net you two more legit starter/rotation pieces at the very least. Gotta finish the complete re-tool here and get the biggest lineup anchor (Kuzma) out of here.

We're just way too dependent on KPJ at this point. We don't even officially have Rollins back on the roster, there has to be another decent sized move because our perimeter ballhandling/playmaking talent is just nowhere close to what it needs to be.

Gery is currently writing a hit piece saying how Dame would have worked out here if we kept Jabari and built around him instead of Giannis.

Gery seems like more of a Hayward guy.

Gary Harris the next in the line of OJ Mayo-Rodney Hood-Semi Ojeleye types that "if their body really isn't broken maybe they can play for us" types... except like the rest, he's probably broken.

Situational shooter who has NBA experience. Reminds me of title year bringing in Teague. Didn't do a whole lot, but had one really solid shooting game when we needed one. Maybe he takes that role.

KPJ and GTJ shared the $8,781,000 room exception. When you work under the cap to sign players - as Bucks did with Turner - this is the ONLY exception you have access.

Let’s forget about the MLE or the BAE or even the TPEs Bucks were thought to work with. Let’s focus on minimum signings (except Rollins) and trades.

Not sure about here. But I have some friends in Indiana. And on Twitter they're losing their minds.

If we wanted bad things to happen to the Pacers, you couldn't write a better script.

Not the Hali injury obviously, no one would hope for injuries.

But making it all the way to game 7 on the Finals, only to lose. Then they lose one of their most key players to the Bucks in free agency about a week later.

That's gotta be tough.

Yes, we've just put all our chips and cap resources into the frontcourt right now (Giannis/Turner/Bobby/Kuzma) and this team desperately needs another creator and 3&D wing still. Gary Harris is a corpse. Trent and AJ aren't ball-handlers. Prince is Prince. Horst can't just sign Rollins and call it a day.
