Gonna have to head over there and take peak at the meltdown. That warms my heart.

Not sure about here. But I have some friends in Indiana. And on Twitter they're losing their minds.

I'm so sorry.

Ron Swanson wrote:Yes, we've just put all our chips and cap resources into the frontcourt right now (Giannis/Turner/Bobby/Kuzma) and this team desperately needs another creator and 3&D wing still. Gary Harris is a corpse. Trent and AJ aren't ball-handlers. Prince is Prince. Horst can't just sign Rollins and call it a day.

He can and I would probably bet he will.

Feels like this about the 11th time that this has applied to Horst...lol.

He needs to fire Doc ASAP though.

Yeah it’s the same on the Pacers board, they’re not happy lol. Turner was a fan favorite it seems.

With Khris, Dame, Pat and Brook gone, Giannis is now the second oldest on the team (Prince is 6 months older). We are no longer an AARP team.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think the internal belief is that KPJ develops into a legitimate #2, this teams Khris.

I think fit/chemistry matter a lot for a perfect sidekick to Giannis. He has to compliment him and make up for his few weaknesses. I think KPJ has the talent, but more importantly has great chemistry and complimentary tools with Giannis to make him a possible #2, more so than may be the case on any other team due to Giannis unique greatness.

Yep, getting younger was an absolute must.

We're no longer an old team (we weren't after the trade deadline, really), but with Doc Rivers as your head coach, you can bet we're still gonna play like one.

This absolutely had to be done. TBD if we tinkered the pieces together right with what we had, but this was not an option IMO (potential gap year aside).

When you go in, you should go ALL IN! no half measures. Nothing is out of limits now, not even 2031 pick. let's round up the roster and compete

Money and stability is a good motivator for a player like KPJ. I agree with you tho, 2yrs 11m certainly isn’t what you pay your starting PG if you’re a serious team but here we are. Still hoping Kuzma and the remaining draft capital can land us a playmaker. Also, I want Rollins back. Send Chris Livingston to the moon now.

Is it too early to suggest Buy-out Midds?

Bringing back Doc is even worse now, because with the addition of Turner, the Buck's ceiling just got significantly higher and the Bucks severely weakened one of thier biggest competitors in the conference.

Didn’t even think about that. That’s a good point. I would still rather have the old team with more talent if they could’ve stayed healthy but they couldn’t so getting a younger team and switching it up is very exciting.
