If Grimes finish to the season was real this is one the few moves that could make a difference for Milw. Morey would want his pound of flesh and sees blood in the water.

And I think you could try to play with the 2026 swap also since NOP isn’t looking so good either.. Should be able to build some value off of Washington or OKC..
jayjaysee wrote:2026 swap option (worse of Mil/NOP) to Washington for worse of OKC/Hou/LAC
Washington gets to go from probably 30 to probably 20.. Lot of upside if Giannis decides to leave / get hurt etc..
But they have to take Kuzma back and trade CJM.
But not sarcastically, I think that could be built into a three team deal where Washington gets bad money - but not Kuzma..

think it cost more than that swap to turn Kuzma into a productive expiring guard
what about
Milwaukee out: Kuzma, 2026 swap
Milwaukee in: Derozan
Washington out: Kispert, Holmes
Washington in: Kuzma, 2026 swap
Sacramento out: Derozan
Sacramento in: Holmes, Kispert

Why would Washington want Kuz back?

Sacramento dont want 2 more SGs for 1 (O'neale plays bigger but still SG size)

Royce is short but he is not a 2 at all and never really was even in Utah. Right?
But they could use guys that play defense and shoot threes. That’s why I picked Sac?

Royce can play up line ups when there is a defensive anchor like gobert or allen/claxton. I think its a bad idea w/ sabonis

Think he’s been a three that can guard up to four or down to two.
