Since Trent signed just at 3,6 mil it would be a dream scenario if he took another minimum deal and leave the full room exception (3y/27,6mil) for Porter. Both will explode their value if they become the starting guards combo for Milwaukee, it would be nice if at least one was locked for more seasons.

Let’s do that at least with Rollins and maybe Green. His 2,3 mil won’t be guaranteed until next week. It will be smart if Bucks brought him back with a 4/30 now. I would love a Rollins/Green backup combo locked at 10 mil combined.

Think it goes without saying that he would have been a much better target for a vet min than gary harris. His shooting numbers improved a lot in the last couple years and is a real microwave kind of guy

We are probably in the 1% of NBA fans that invest time following this and no one here seems to know for sure whether or not we have the MLE. I don't think we do, but i dont really know.

Pretty sure Turner was just a normal FA signing and doesn't conflict with the MLE.

If we dipped below the cap (by waiving/stretching Dame) in order to open up the cap space needed to sign Turner then the MLE is no longer available to us. The MLE is only available to teams over the cap. From everything I'm understanding that would be the case here.

Correct, but we'd gain the room exception. I don't know if we had to drop cap holds for some of our guys though. If so, then we already used the room exception on them. I doubt it though, they had low cap holds.

Turner is gonna switch out Giannis's real 60 ball on his way out a la Indiana Jones.

Portis: 3 yr/ PO
KPJ: 2 yr/ PO
Trent: 2 yr/ PO
Prince: 2 yr/ PO
Turner: 4 yr/ PO
Harris: 2 yr/ PO
Sims: 2 yr/ PO

I think Horst's real goal of the off-season was to break the player option record.

My only concern moving forward. Turner is a good C in his prime who can defend and hit a three. It's up to Horst to Doc proof the roster or tell him to play serious lineups and stfu.

No one can convince me that fleecing New Orleans for their 2026 pick back wasn't partially a hedged bet that Haliburton was gonna tear his Achilles trying to gut it out in Game 7.

We probably used part of the room exception on KPJ? I don't know how else we execute that contract?

For the Herd maybe.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Holy hell did the 2025-26 Pacers season outlook really diminish in the last 9 days. Im not gloating, goes to show how unpredictable sports are.
