Sandro wasn't on my short list, but I'll take him. Should be a fun player to have on the team!

I think if we waive Castleton, waive Lawson, and sign Alijah Martin to a rookie minimum, we are slightly under the luxury tax with a 15 player roster. Looks like we're all set to go.

If he has no suitors I’d gladly bring him back on a minimum.

He would be a terrific 3rd string energy big.

I think the ship has sailed with CMB getting drafted but I think he's underrated at this point.

You’re likely right, but I’d keep him over Lawson who is so far down the depth chart it isn’t even funny.

IQ/Shead/Martin
RJ/Agbaji/Dick/Walter
Ingram/Battle
Barnes/CMB
Poeltl/Mamu/Mogbo

Feels like Boucher fits in at the 3rd string PF perfectly.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

reading the spurs reddit they think he's a terrible defender

Most stretch bigs are lol. At best you’re getting a neutral defender. Thankfully we have a lot of defenders at the wing to make up for his bad defence. But this is what I try to tell people on here about the stretch big. It all fun and cute that they can shoot but they usually don’t do much big man things and that usually hurts you more than their shooting helps. Especially when they don’t take a high volume of 3s

Pretty sure Battle already has a spot on the roster

Ok, I did not know he could move like that, especially in transition.

This skillset seems ideal for 15-20mpg. A beefy (240lbs) center who's not afraid to shoot from 3, can pass, rebound and fill the lane - in hindsight I see why the Raps had their sights on him.

How can anyone hate Boucher who was a class act getting benched during his contract year...

Yep agree... Love Boucher, really undervalued by some around here.

you pair a stretch big with a defensive PF like CMB or Mogbo to make it work

0 chance Battle gets cut. He has a case to be a rotation player next season

Well at least we know now that it was Bobby all this time...or he's learned bad habits from Masai. Why the hell do we keep doing this

Solid pickup otherwise though.

He was one of the guy I mentioned would be an interesting add...under the radar. Too bad it wasn't just a 2 year deal.

I like it.

Last game of the season vs us he came in and played well, maybe left a lasting impression on Bobby.

They did, yeah, prep school. Not sure how many years together but I remember this photo [RJ #5 / Sandro #23] (Andrew Nembhard (#2) was also on the team)

We're only a couple guys away from being able to throw out a team lefty line up.

Yup, Battle not going anywhere unless he shows up to camp fat and blind.

Castleton and Lawson are the filler contracts that will get cut first.

As for the signing... Stretch big that can pass the ball. Darko will be pleased. This move adds a lot of balance to our bench units now.
