Why would Grange leave us hanging like that. What does this even mean?

Look at the FA contracts being signed this summer. IQ's contract is immovable

Which is fair. We paid him like a quality starter. he needs to be on the court to prove it.

All these logjams could be solved by drafting Maluah. I am not convinced the CMB is lights year ahead as a prospect and now after the draft we are in the same exact position as the past 3 years... Looking for a good center that is not available in the trade market.

Did CMB and KM all know Masai was leaving beforehand?

If we’re using that to excuse the contracts he gave out, then you can’t also make it a result of his departure.

Unless we make a trade, it looks like we'll be either keeping Castleton, or replacing Castleton with a different C on a minimum contract. I'd be happy if we could get a guy like Bryant, Bassey, or Tshiebwe for that spot. If no one wants to come here, then the plan is likely to let summer league play out, and then sign a standout C from there that doesn't have a contract.

These two have such bad contracts we'll just have to let them expire unless New Orleans or the Kings can help us out. Ujiri left of these gems before he got booted and we're stuck with em

I have to think that teams are afraid of investing so much in a position that come playoff time, can be played off the court.

It is the Rudy Gobert dilemma. Rudy is critical to the Wolves success, that they really can’t afford to trade him easily, and yet, when the playoffs get to critical moments, there he is sitting on the bench.

Raps must think that with Yak there already, they have what they need at C, and are looking for players that could have a greater impact on the game.

It has to be a guy that is of a level like Castleton that he is willing to play on a non-guaranteed contract until Jan 10th, because we have no space. I don’t think Bryant will do that , but maybe Bassey or Tshiebwe will. We are basically offering a pay as you go deal.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….
