Lol queue the usual cast of whiners, lol

Seriously, this could be the most depth we have seen in years...

Depending on how our young guys do (mostly talking Dick and the 2nd year guys) this will be the most balanced and talented team since the dregs of the championship team.

5 quality starters (keep your RJ hate out of this) and quality backups at at each spot as well.

Shooting is still a concern, but with IQ, BI, DIck, Walter, Mamu, Battle there will be a sniper on the floor at all times.

Sounds boring, but this team is now all about internal growth. Time to let Darko cook.

I'm not complaining about the roster, but I think calling it depth is a little premature. Gradey, Walter, and CMB haven't actually shown that they can contribute to winning yet. Shead and Sandro are also not very proven. I'm excited to see how they play but let's not set our expectations too high as usual

RJ is also pretty good on the catch and shoot open 3's (my eye test)

Yup. RJ is a solid offense player period. It is all about his defense. Either he steps up on that end of the floor or he has to be a 6th man or traded.

I will absolutely laugh my ass off if we attach a first to offload RJ to the Nets.

It took a first for the Nets to take on Terrance Mann who’s actually making less than over 3 years than RJ is making over 2. If RJ was expiring I’d agree with you but that contract is going to be hard to move.

Pistons need some scoring.

Then there's SAC and NO

I agree, at this time it will be hard to move. Let's see how the summer plays out.

I don't see one of RJ or Ochai finishing the season on Toronto.

Is fair to say almost all of the guards behind him can shoot and defend minus Gradey?

It doesn't make sense. He is not like Demare Carrol or Kyle Kuzma. Plus as we learned from the Bucks there is waive and stretch.

Edit: that said I'd expect asset back from RJ trade, not lux tax relief. Just saying

Yes, but the rooks and second year players still need to show they belong...
