I can just see Giannis demands to be traded after Bucks are done signing players

Don't see the Suns getting off Beals contract. No trades available and waive and stretch is bad business. Suns are gonna roll with:

Green/Beal/Gillispie
Booker/Allen/Brea
Brooks/Hayes-Davis/Dunn
O'Neale/Fleming/Ighodaro
Williams/Richards/Maluach

Holy crap.
I'm glad he got his 2nd contract then.
And that's why you should trust people when they show their true face.

Thank you, Sarver.
And then we got another franchise killer move by trading everything KD.

Oh yes, I remember saying he should save his money after that contract. BTW Where are the D.A lovers?, come support ya boy

Unless we can find someplace he wants to go to; we really dont get anything by waiving him. we cant waive and stretch because we used that on Little.
Just say no to idiots!!

Kevin Durant: “Yeah, they happy now, man. We’ll see—we’ll see how it goes when we start playing. You know how that is. But yeah, I’m excited. New opportunity. It’s always good to keep playing. I love playing ball. So to still be playing in my 18th—going on 19th—year in the league is sweet. I just want to keep it going.”

I def wish we could have gotten more for him but am relieved we don't have to worry about him getting hurt and his value going from what we got, to what the Bucks got for Dame.

This worries me as it'll likely baseline what kind of deal to expect Williams to get. Suns need to be very careful with him

I can feel someone would be unhappy with the minutes on the floor.

Indeed, Rockets are highly overrated. People don't realize this kind of roster construction never works. Jabari Smith minutes will be capped due to KD, Sengun, Steven Adams, Capela, and Thompson.

Eason? He's barely gonna get more than 15 minutes and he's a legit starter on most teams.

It's gonna be an unhappy bunch alongside a nonchalant don't care mentality KD. This team will crash and burn.

"Bogyo" already expressed much of my disagreement. I'll just say I think Udoka and Stone have done a great job thus far, and I do not see team talent as a problem they cannot resolve. Keep in mind that they lost two starters in the trade and most of the world knows that KD is an infinite improvement replacing one of them. The only position they have too much great depth in is center IMO. But I doubt either Adams or Capela will be unhappy. With the league need, Landale will probably be gone. Maybe they foresee a no layup policy.

My starters would be: Sengun at center, Smith at PF, KD at the three, Thompson at the two, and VanVleet at point. Eason started last year, but I see him as a super sub for KD and Smith, who will get big minutes. Ime might again start him instead of Jabari, but I like the biggest at the four. They both had nearly the same points and boards last year. And adding a great defender who can shoot like DFS gives them great forward depth. I will really enjoy watching that team next year.

It's been touched on already, but I think they could use more in the back court, at least another exceptional shooter and another point. It has not been necessary for OKC, but SGA has been otherworldly.

Owed 39m with him picking up the option
65m added

So an AAV of just under $21m

Williams owed $6.8
RFA next year

You are correct - probably looking at an AAV of at least $15m if he stays healthy this year

So what are we thinking? Hachimura and Reaves plus two, no one, second round pick for Giannis.

Reaves is too rich. Knecht and Rui.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Now, I was pushing Dame for Beal just to get out of Beals NTC and clear up the logjam at SG. That said, now that Beal is a FA - unless he truly really likes PHoenix - why would he pick Phoenix when other teams give him a better chance to win. Even a team like Boston will be a different team in 12 months when Stevens goes back to building around Tatum and Brown.

I think Flex is reaching a bit on this one...
