I'm sure they *could*, right? Salary dump. But IDK why they *would* for Kuminga, especially when the Warriors could just match. Right?

Seems that way. Reality is it's now sign and trade options only but with the compensation rules the Warriors can only take approximately back half his new salary.
So assuming he gets something in the $25-$30M range
For the Bulls they have Coby White at $12M, Williams at $18M, Huerter at $16M and Collins at $17M.
Can't see the Warriors would be interested in Williams, Huerter or Collins and doubt the Bulls would give up White.
The Heat don't really appear to have a contract to trade back in that range, unless they overpay and then looking at the Wiggins spot but why would the Warriors want him back.
New Orleans have Herb Jones at $13M, so unless they are trying to create a new version of the Warriors with Poole and Looney I'm not sure why they would want to pay Kuminga $26M over Jones at $13M.
I just don't see where he goes

I'd offer Kuminga and 3 pick swaps to the Bulls for White, thinking that Chicago's FRPs are still going to be good for the foreseeable future. If necessary, maybe 1 protected FRP and 1 swap.

CHI has P.Williams, Buzelis, Okoro, Philips and Essengue. So why would they trade for another forward and especially for White?

If there was no other deal possible, including S&T, presumably JK would have signed the Warriors' offer by now.
So there must be a team or two talking to his agent about a S&T.

The holdup is JK being in denial he’s a $15m a year player and not $30m. He’ll come around eventually

So what’s the plan from the warriors perspective?
Gum up their free agency by waiting out a player who doesn’t want to be here for a coach who doesn’t want him?
As currently constructed they will be the over the hill gang battling for a play-in spot.

I don't think there's any other teams that are willing to give him 30 either.
