Jak cant shoot 3s but hes extremely important to the team. The team is much worse without him

His playmaking and defending fits how the team wants to play. Plus, he's well liked, never complains about role/minutes and he does all the little things that sometimes don't show up in the stats sheet. He's probably worth more to the Raps given the fit than a lot of other teams.

Yes you could wait, but then the board is bitching why he isnt extended or traded cause he could opt out next year. And if he has another career year? Then the price tag gets higher or he might even bolt to play for another team. Be happy, its a cheap contract for a player thats one of the best centers in the league.
